I recently stayed at The Keep with my Mum as we were visiting family in Dorset. This is one of the best places I have stayed in that is a B&B. It was easy to locate using a satnav and parking was ample. As soon as we walked in we were made to feel welcome. The receptionist was pleasant, friendly... More

Good location for town, shops and restaurants. Very friendly and obliging staff. Beautiful bedrooms, large, nicely decorated and the best bed we have slept in. Bathroom was roomy and spotlessly clean. Good continental breakfast, so much choice, served in a delightful dining area. We visit this part of the country several times a year and will certainly book here again.

Stayed for 2 nights, arrived early and was given room straight away, so didn't have to wait till 3pm to check in, which was nice. All staff polite and friendly, and the room was very nice too. Good location and near to all shops.

I stayed here in the tower room with my partner on Thursday, we're both local but needed a night away from home. We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful lady and shown to our room by a young lad who I assume was new to the establishment, he seemed a bit sheepish and unsure of himself though he... More

Stayed for just one night. Very clean, modern dining area, rooms large and spacious with tea and coffee, a nice big telly and a lovely modern bathroom. Had a lovely cooked breakfast before we left, all staff helpful and friendly. A good place to stay! We were at the front and there were a few people milling around till the... More

Stayed two nights. As before room was comfortable and spacious. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking excellent as it is through an archway into a courtyard immediately in front of reception. Hotel is close to the centre of the town and therefore convenient to banks coffee shops and restaurants. WiFi is good and is free. A repeat is definitely on the... More

When we arrived, Sara was so incredibly welcoming, we felt at home right away! We had a ground floor room with an outside wall to the street. The room was spotlessly clean, and the decoration was very well thought out- with all the facilities you would want after a long drive. Unfortunately (and this is no fault of the B&B),... More

Thank you for your lovely review and I will definitely pass on your comments to Sara. Good location near the town centre. After showing us our very spacious very clean room, the manager offered us some cake. Good large power shower room. We had a family room with the extra large bath, very large tv, microwave and good selection of teas and coffees. The breakfast room was small and a bit disorganised, continental breakfast (included) was... More

I booked the Keep for an American customer. This is written on his behalf. The town central location is perfect. Pavements will take you to all the shops, bars and restaurants in minutes. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. The staff we met were extremely friendly and efficient. It's full marks.
