Not so good this time around but not due to the renovations, the rooms are still super clean and tidy of a great size, tea and coffee in the room and WIFI, limited TV. Just a tad concerned the service was just off. Breakfast was cooked to order.

The Preston Hotel recently hosted my grandmothers wake. The Whole family were very happy with the food and service we recieved. The spread of food was absolutely beautiful and delicious. And we were well looked after. Family and friends that stayed in the hotel also had very good things to say about the rooms and how comfortable they were. I...

We had the family room, with one double and two singles. The beds were comfortable: firm but not uncomfortably so. There was sufficient room for our daughter to run around and sufficient storage for our clothes. The TV was large and easy to use. The room was a little dowdy, but not unpleasantly so. The shower was fine, nothing amazing,...

I stayed here recently as I had a meeting in Yeovil. My room was in the main building on the first floor. The bed was by far the most comfortable I slept in for a long time, which isn't something you can always say about the beds in even the better hotels. The en-suite room itself was fine for my...

Stayed here with many others as we had a wedding not far away. We had a family room on the top floor which for what we paid was surprisingly nicer than we expected it would be . It had a double bed and 2 single beds as well as a small enclosed viewing type area with a table and chairs...

Lovely family hotel, warm welcome, comfortable rooms and great value for money. My Swedish cousins loved the full English breakfast! Others in our wedding party were equally impressed. Nice and quiet as well.

I stayed at Preston for 5 nights (in the main building). Checked-in at 5pm. on Monday almost instantly. First impression of the hotel: domestic, a bit close-bodied but a nice place. Rooms are at a second and a third floors, entrance is secured by an additional locked door. The room (common for 2 rooms, at least): smell is awful. Smell...
