On arrival, the staff were very friendly and helpful in getting checked in as you would hope, especially when you have a 4 year old and 6 month old baby. The only, couple of very minor moans, are that we were placed on the Southend Arterial Road side of the hotel and the bed arrangements. The hotel has done a... More

Stayed here one night as in the area for a family christening. Very efficient helpful check in staff and our room had all you needed for a short stay. Bed was extremely comfortable and toilet/shower room a decent size. All very clean and tidy. We paid to have the breakfast in the morning, and I have to say it was... More

Wonderful place to stay. Nothing is took much for the staff. They are approachable and friendly... Even at 5am! The room was lovely. Modern, clean and the bed was amazing! Would recommend the breakfast at it was delicious and it's all you can eat!! Great location, big car park and next to a Harvester.

Had been here a good few times and have never had cause for complaint. Staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help. Brooke especially is a lovely girl. It's always quiet breakfast is freshly cooked and the harvester is next door for evening meals.

We visited this hotel with other family and friends when attending a big celebration nearby. We received a lovely friendly welcome, the room was well equipped, spotlessly clean with a lovely comfortable bed. The harvester next door has good value for money food available. Unfortunately we couldn't have breakfast here the following day due to storm damage after a night... More

This is one of there older hotel's good size rooms no power socket beside the bed to charge your phone. Just little things were wrong the room was only set out for single occupancy. The breakfast was not the best and definitely not worth the money.

Booked to stay over as I was on a 2 day course and travelled down by train.. Train station is a short taxi ride away. Really lovely welcome by the staff and nothing was too much trouble. Room had everything you would need but this is on a busy road but I wasn't disturbed the traffic.. Had a bit of... More

Affordable hotel in Rayleigh (not Basildon) clean rooms, towels need bleaching but apart from that it was ok. We did not have breakfast. Plenty of parking, room was quiet. Easy access off A127 right on the roundabout at Rayleigh. Friendly staff, we felt very welcome.
