Room was small but had all that I needed. Not slept in a single bed since I was about 12 but was out like a light!! Tea and coffee facilities good. Breakfast was really good. Local sausages tasty as was home made read. Read one of the poor reviews which I thought was quite rude and unnecessary. Good service. Thanks

We stayed three nights and were pleasantly surprised by this B&B. The room, bedding and bathroom were extremely clean. We had a large room and there were nice fluffy towels, comfortable beds, thick and thin pillows were supplied, constant hot water for the shower, adequate storage, heating good and adjustable. The tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits tray was replenished...

This was our second stay at 9 Green Lane and my husband and I really enjoyed our 3 nights. It is a cosy, comfortable, clean b & b in a lovely Edwardian house and only a short walk to Buxton town centre. The highlights were the delicious breakfasts with lots of choice, homemade bread, jams and marmalade and the hospitality...

My second visit to this delightful little B&B, and pleased to see nothing had changed. I have never come across such a spotlessly clean establishment. 5* breakfast with homemade and locally sourced goodies. An excellent location for me, 5 mins to town and 5 mins to Solomon's Temple. Proprietors' friendly and really helpful. It was much appreciated that they allowed...

Just a short stroll from the centre of Buxton, 9 Green Lane was a wonderful place to stay. Well appointed and comfortable room, spotlessly clean, helpful and friendly hosts, superb cooked breakfast (with homemade bread and preserves). Would certainly recommend.

This B&B is an old Victorian vill. It has a wonderful atmosphere and is located in a quiet neighbourhood, on walking distance from the city enter. The staf is very helpful and helped me with a surprise cake for my husbands birthday. Last but not least, the breakfast is delicious

We had two enjoyable days at 9 Green Lane. The room was clean and well equipped and decorated. Breakfast was very good and especially the home made bread and jams/marmalades. We were able to park on site which was great. The town centre was a reasonable walk a away and there were good nearby pubs and restaurants. Caroline and Rupert...

On a quiet road of large villas, yet just minutes from the centre of town, 9 Green Lane is a conformable and individual guest house, occupying an Edwardian house of character. My room was spacious and well appointed; I had an excellent night's sleep. The ensuite was clean and the over-all shower effective, though it is operated from a bath...

Recently spent one night at this lovely guest house. It really is a gorgeous building. We had a room on the ground floor, it was a really nice room. There was tea and coffee making facilities, even a bottle of water each. The bed was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was great, you give your order the night before along with...
