I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, and I know my friends did too. The rooms were all lovely, clean and spacious and Caroline and Rupert were very friendly and helpful. The Vegan breakfast was a triumph! (My omnivorous friends thought so too...) and the home-made breads & jams were delicious. I really appreciated that Caroline & Rupert let us keep...

What a lovely house. Usually guest houses of this age are a bit run down and need some some care, not this one, beautifully decorated, nice room, nice bed, (no alarm clock) thank god for my phone. Wi-Fi. Tea's and coffee in the room. Breakfast was excellent. We would definitely recommend staying here..

This is the second occasion that I have stayed at 9 Green Lane. On both occasions the hosts were friendly and helpful. My most recent visit saw me book single accommodation. Whilst clean and comfortable I did find the room a little cramped and would defiantly pay that little bit extra to stay in one of their excellent double rooms...

We were greeted by Caroline and made to feel very welcome. Immaculate room, comfortable bed and en suite bathroom. The breakfast the following morning was delicious. A choice of cereal, fresh fruit salad, yogurts, full English, Smoked salmon and egg and on top of that their home made bread and home made jams. The accommodation was a 10 minute stroll...

The room's en-suite arrangement was good, separate shower room from sink and toilet. Personally I found the bed too firm and a little uncomfortable, but my husband thought it was fine. There was a good supply of tea & coffee, milk, hot chocolate, biscuits etc.in the room and a fridge on the first floor landing. Breakfast's are good, with homemade...

Lovely accommodation. Breakfast was excellent with lots of homemade jams and preserves but the nicest thing was the PERSONAL service by the hosts/ owners Carolyn and Rupert. Highly recommended within walking distance of town and plenty of off- street parking.
