We had our wedding here in June. It was a beautiful location. Bobby was brilliant and helped us organise a day that was unique to us. Many of our family and friends could stay in the holiday cottages in the grounds.

Third Christmas visit to Top Spot, self catering property and part of the Cressbrook Hotel holiday lets. We love spending Christmas here nothing is too much trouble and we just relax from the moment we turn the key in the door. We had a delivery from Ocado and to be honest we had to force ourselves to leave the cottage... More

Cressbrook hall is set in a beautiful area. We stayed in one of the cottages within the eastate called the Old Tractor Shed. It had lots of character and was immaculate inside and out. The 3 double bedrooms were well equipped with all that we needed for our short weekend break. The underfloor heating was excellent especially as it was... More

We have just returned from yet another fabulous stay at Cressbrook Hall. We got married here in 2009, visited again 3 years ago and returned this September for my birthday treat. We had booked Lower Lodge as this is where we stayed when we got married, however upon arrival we were offered an upgrade, in all honesty we weren't sure... More

As soon as you turn in, the hall and estate with beautiful gardens and hillside panoramic backdrop are breathtaking. There are plenty of areas to hold the perfect wedding and the food is all honest locally sourced tasty fare. The hall owner and her team are personable and helpful with nothing too much trouble. Small touches add to the atmosphere... More

Lovely stay in a beautiful part of the world – thank you! Extremely comfortable, well-appointed rooms in a stunning historic building with extra helpful and friendly host. Cressbrook Hall has got to be one of the best places to stay in the Peak District and we will definitely be visiting again. The grounds and surrounding views and countryside are picture... More

We have recently returned from our wonderful wedding day in the Peak District, specifically staying at Cressbrook Hall. Given that we live 200 miles away, there could have been an issue getting across what we wanted for the day, but the staff there, Veronica in particular kept my lady very much up to date with everything. The accommodation was comfortable... More

My sister had her wedding here and there are so many great things about this venue for a wedding. The location/views are truly stunning and there are lots of lovely places in the grounds for photographs. It’s also really close to Chatsworth house and Bakewell – two great places to visit while in Derbyshire. There is a lot of accommodation... More

As a favour, and completely without charge, the Bride and ONE Bridesmaid were offered a private guest room in Cressbrook Hall to get ready for the wedding. On the day the Bride arrived with three Bridesmaids, her Mother and future Mother-in-law. The room which had been allocated was unsuitable for such a large party so they were offered a suite.... I went for a Wedding at Cressbrook Hall. The Wedding was wonderful. The accommodation i had was in need of an update especially the bathroom, not a proper shower. No Wi Fi which was needed to be able to communicate with the rest of the Wedding party. Owner of Cressbrook Hall needs to be more flexible and accommodating to her... More

Cressbrook Hall was stunning in terms of views of the Peak District along with the beautiful garden and perfect for a wedding venue during the summer. However I felt some of the lodges were out dated in terms of interior design especially when you compare them to the lodges at Top Spot which all had brand new en-suites and modern... More
