Set back from the main road, Staden Grange is well signed giving the quiet you need with the view you would expect from this secluded country house. Our rooms were light, airy, very clean and easily accessed. Breakfast was excellent and the lounge was very inviting. Full facilities for house guests include slippers, a bar, books and games. Very thoughtful...

Our hosts were extremely accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was terrific and our every need was catered for in the room including tea & coffee, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer & slippers. There is a gift shop & small bar on site & there are walks across the fields into Buxton. Will return in the future.

Really pleased with my choice, stayed for 4 nights on a business trip, easy to get to behind an industrial estate which was a bit concerning to begin with but really made no odds. 5 min car journey into Buxton. Owner was helpful and knowledgable about places to eat etc. The room (5) was spacious and exceptionally clean every night...

The campsite is in a wooded area by the house. There are 2 toilets and 2 showers which can get busy at peak times. The location was excellent as we planned on day trips into the peak district. There is a small communal campfire which again can get busy. Supermarkets and the town centre of Buxton is a few minutes...

A decent and well managed family run B&B with a small farm attached. We stayed with two girls in the two bedroom family suite and we were all happy with the layout and quality of the rooms. The breakfast served in the morning was a delight and set us up for the day ahead nicely. Buxton is a great base...

While the room was lovely the place itself seemed to lack character. The breakfast room was so uncomfortably quiet you could hear a pin drop. It would be nice if people could be a little more spread out, as the dinky tables mean you end up sitting very close to other parties, which gives it a bit of an awkward...

Came here for a weekend away to visit Buxton/Peak District and was impressed with the reviews given to Staden Grange so I decided to book there. Wasn't disappointed with the location (albeit being behind a small industrial estate) and the courtyard was spacious. Hosts very welcoming and knowledgeable. Rooms very neat, clean & tidy. Be good for families in the...

Super accommodation, large rooms and spacious clean bathroom. Good location close to Buxton but in the countryside, and a smashing breakfast. Great for young children with donkeys, llamas etc. Pleasant views. Will come again.
