As always my partner and I always book late, so, when looking for places to stay close to Buxton for the festival we struggled. Normally we like staying 5/10 min walk to all attractions etc however when researching places to stay that fitted that description, there was absolutely nothing, then we came across this place. It fitted the budget and... More

We only stayed one night but location was excellent and price reasonable -room very clean. Outstanding service in that a room was found for us in the middle of the night when we were directed there by another hotel in Buxton which was full .

Four of us stayed at the campsite for a three night stay during the week, (Monday - Wednesday) and we had a great time. The shower block was clean, tidy and warm and very well looked after. The showers were good too but the pressure dropped quite dramatically if another shower was turning on but we're still hot. Could do... More

Still as good as two years ago. Clean and comfortable room, friendly and very helpful owners. Excellent breakfasts. Many thanks again Alistair for making our stay just what we needed. We like the added attraction of the "petting farm" for the children

Just returned from a weekend camping at Staden Grange. Such a nice little site, camping under the shade of the trees, good facilities, lovely views and easy access to Buxton. The kids loved Archie's farm, the play park and woodland trail. We finished our trip off in the tea room, small but nice menu and the scones with jam and... More

A very warm welcome to a family orientated small campsite. Mixed tents and caravans but quiet so children could play. A small play frame and an attached farm (small charge except when it is closing when guests can go round.) Very good little shop and a tea room attached. Facilities very good. Would recommend!

Lovely little spot just outside of Buxton, ideal for a nice weekend away with the family. we booked here as part of a large group with 5 tents and two dogs and everyone really enjoyed it, the facilities where ok and the kids had a play frame and plenty of room to run around.

This lovely place, in a tranquil setting, comes as a suprise after the approach through an industrial estate, no trace of which is evident once the Grange is reached. The rooms have personal touches and are very comfortable. There is a big lounge, with books, games and refreshments, incuding home-made and very moreish biscuits. The location, just outside Buxton, is... More

We camped for one night here on our way to bakewell. Such a gorgeous campsite and facilities were outstanding. We had a VW camper van and as it was our first time pitching up with it we were a little clueless as the what to do! The owner helped us out and made sure we got set up well. Even... More

We stayed at Staden Granges campsite for the 2nd May Bank holiday. The site was small but nice. Pitches are either between trees or in the open and are well proportioned. The little "farm" attached to the site is nice and great for young kids. The happy hour for campers between 4 & 5 was great too. There were a... More
