We were a group of 11 adults and 4 children and chose Staden Grange as it was roughly half way between Northumberland and Wiltshire our respective homes. We had a lovely family weekend. The rooms were very comfortable and we had access to a bar and lounge and enjoyed a few Buxton Ales supplied by the local brewery. The breakfasts...

Stopped here because it not to far from the town Center. We arrived early but were let into are room. The room was clean and spacious and had a good selection of extras. There was even a hot water bottle which came in use as is was a cold night. Next morning we went for breakfast. The choice was good...

I went to Staden Grange a couple of weeks ago for a weekend away. Upon arrival we were made to feel very welcome by Alistair who checked us in and even arranged a dinner reservation for us on the evening (The Royal Oak Inn - extensive menu and great service. Alistair's tip on the large portion sizes was spot on)....

The hotel is up a long drive behind an industrial estate but once there it was very tranquil with great country views. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were great with a good choice? Would definitely stay again

My first impression of this B and B was it was very clean and family orientated. The owners where just lovely, couldn't do enough for us. nothing was to much, they went above and beyond for us. Very friendly. The breakfast was really good as well. Plus very clean cosy rooms. Overall our experience was fantastic. Would defiantly recommend a...

For my wife and I, our stay at Staden Grange was fantastic. Off the beaten track, tranquil and welcoming base to explore the Peak District. The owners offered great local advice, are very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Well serviced and comfortable room and great breakfasts. One of the best B&Bs we have stayed in during our trip.

On our drive from London to Manchester we were searching for a place to rest for the night and we found that magical place. It felt like home. The owners are really sweet and friendly. Sara was so kind and helpful. The breakfast was really delicious. Great hospital and great value of your money. The place is so peaceful and...

Friendly hosts, rooms clean and well serviced. Breakfast excellent. Value very good. The only negative is that all the rooms surround the car park which is not the ideal idyllic view. But if I come back I will stay here again. The owner is an active member of a classic car club who specialise in Jowett Jupiters. So if that...

We stayed here for two nights, two mature couples. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is very good, with views out over the Derbyshire countryside, only 5 minutes' drive to Buxton or a country walk across the fields into town is also possible. The hots were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was super, including fresh fruit and Derbyshire...

Stayed here with my 7 month old baby as my family and friends were camping near by. Booked a single room, plenty of space for myself and my daughter. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Particularly liked the private access, was ideal for coming and going with the baby without worrying about disturbing other people. Breakfast was excellent and the...
