What a lovely place to stay. My sister and I were on a walking holiday and we were exhausted when we arrived but nothing was too much trouble for the owners. I would definitely recommend staying here, our room was very comfortable and spotless and the breakfast was delicious.

Enjoyed a very pleasant weekend in this lovely establishment. We were made to feel very welcome, had lovely room with great view across the Derbyshire countryside. There were good toiletries, and plenty of tea and coffee as well as bottles of water in the room. A good choice of evening meals which were large sized portions and the full breakfast... More

Called in on the way back from Manchester. The staff were very friendly, although the restaurant was full they found a table in the bar area for us to eat. The food was lovely and hot and we had a nice evening We would recommend stopping here, it may be worth booking in advance though

Didn't actually manage to eat here but please bear with me, I think our experience is still worth a mention... We called in to this pub one evening whilst visiting the local area. The bar and restaurant area were very quiet, only a handful of customers on a Friday night. We were initially told by a younger member of bar... More

I wouldn't normally complain but the rudeness of the new owner or manager and how she spoke to my family I had to write a review straight away, I visited here last Sunday on our way home, wasnt sure if it was open as only one car on car park, went in to ask if they were serving food, was told that... A family guaranteed to spoil the atmosphere in a pub. The complainant writer admits allowing a toddler to wander around the place whilst clutching chips and leaving residue on the furniture, bar and the floor. A screaming child out of control reflects the absence of parenting skills whilst expecting the general public and businesses to tolerate their ignorance. More

Called in for our evening meal was made very welcome, spotlessly clean and the food was great large portions, piping hot and delicious. Would definitely visit again the next time we are holidaying in the area. Would have no problems in recommending our friends and family to pay a visit to the Jug and Glass Inn.

Brilliant welcoming, friendly hosts. Inn is under new management and Yvonne and Andrew are great! Food is delicious, accommodation is great. We stayed in room 2 which has a bath with overhead superb powerful shower. Bed was so comfortable. Tea, coffee, bottled water and tasty biscuits in room. Inn and accommodation spotlessly clean. Stunning views, great location. Will stay again!

We were very fortunate to find a room here when the accommodation for our weekend away with friends fell through at the last minute. The room and en suite were clean and nicely decorated and the landlady and landlord were friendly and very obliging; they even kindly agreed to give up their free time to give us a lift home...
