Couldn't have asked for any more. The property was comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful big kitchen with everything we needed. Loved the seating area looking out to the field watching the kids play. The accommodation sleeps 8. Whilst we were a family of 5 the only negative thing I would say is that it would have been overcrowded had there... More

We have had an amazing time at Hurdlow Grange. Taking over 3 properties we had plenty of room for 20 and were easily able to all eat together, plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses. The properties were all well stocked and the little extras, hand soap, shower gel, bin bags, dish washer tablets, tea, coffee etc were a welcome change... More

We had a fantastic week at The Cruck'd Barn in Hurdlow Grange. The accommodation was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped, and we had a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and a freezer, which was really helpful. The large sofas were cosy and comfortable. The beds were really comfy, we all slept really well there, including my 80 year... More

Fantastic place!! We held our Senior Management Team workshop here in May, Peak Venues were highly professional. Hurdlow Grange was just beautiful, we hired all the buildings and the whole team loved it, the rooms were very clean and furnished to a high standard. I would recommend this venue if your business fancies something different for an away day. The... More

From booking the weekend to leaving, Peak Venues have been great all the way through. I booked the whole site for 42 running club members for the annual weekend away. The accommodation worked perfect as Amberleigh and Applegarth offered a quieter space and the large room in Cruck'd barn was great for us all to get together. All of the... More

We stayed at Applegarth for a weekend break with 4 adults, 1 child and 3 dogs. The barn’s very well equipped (beware of the low ceilings in upstairs rooms). Great location and we were really lucky with the weather. Loads of walking available from the doorstep and the Royal Oak pub lived up to its reputation for a lovely pub... More

We stayed in the Applegarth cottage. 3 bedrooms. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are en suite, the ground floor one has a separate large bathroom. The kitchen area is big enough for 2 couples with a few kids, or 3 couples. It is very well equipped with a fridge, freezer, dish washer, washing machine, microwave, oven etc... The location is superb,... More

Spent a lovely 3 days at these smashing barns, very homely and in a beautiful location. Great for large families with good equipment to enable you to cook meals and communal areas to socialise together and have your own space too. My only concern was that a stair gate was needed to prevent falls for little children. Wifi wasn't great... More

Lovely setting down a country lane with rolling hills all around. We stayed Easter weekend when all properties were occupied and had no problem with noise (hopefully they didn't with us!). We booked the cottage as it gave us 4 double bedrooms, which is hard to find. All bedrooms were of a good size and nicely decorated. Two are en-suite... More

This was our third visit to Hurdlow grange. It's a fabulous place for a large family like ours to get together and yet have independence from one another. The accommodation is well looked after, is ideally placed for local attractions and has enough bedrooms and space to house a group of 18 or more, easily. The booking process is handled... More
