This is a lovely bed and breakfast with fantastic views. We had a spacious comfortable room. The freshly cooked breakfast was superb. It’s a little off the beaten track which was perfect for us but may not suit everyone. I can’t fault it though - Thankyou

We stayed for two nights in two of the upstairs rooms. Both were spacious, with beautiful views, and very nicely furnished. The bathrooms were excellent, with lovely big baths, which was very welcome after a long walk. The atmosphere was both cosy and private, and the food in

We had a wonderful stay at Stoop Farm 12th - 15th September. We stayed in The Hayloft, a large and spacious room with a beautiful bathroom, perfect for relaxing after a long walk. The farm is in a rural location with spectacular views all around. We received a very warm welcome

The warning bell went off when I saw the 'For Sale' sign! The best thing about this B&B is the location. The accommodation and breakfast was average and it's the first B&B I have ever been to where they don't make the bed or freshen up the room.

I am struggling to know who left this review as it is anonymous. We always service/ freshen up the rooms, beds are folded down to air them, the tea trays are refilled with organic ground coffee, tea bags etc., cups are washed and replaced, a chocolate bar or homemade cake/ biscuits put out, bins emptied. I am sad to be given such a low score on cleanliness and service as we aim to provide a very high standard in both and go out of our way to make guests feel warmly welcomed. We offer a very wide cooked breakfast choice, using high quality ingredients, such as free range sausages, bacon and our own or organic bought eggs, wild smoked salmon, organic milk and yoghurt, homemade granola. I’m not sure what this guest is used to but I feel this does offer a degree of luxury and certainly our furnishings and fittings in the bedrooms and in the guests’ lounge are of a high quality. The vast number of our guests appreciate what we offer, I’m sorry that you didn’t. Glad you liked our location though, it is beautiful.

We stayed for 3 nights at Stoop Farm which is situated in a beautiful, peaceful location with several walks from the door. As the owners were on holiday we were welcomed by their son (a very pleasant young man) who showed us to our room but sadly we weren't offered tea and cake

Hello Deborah, I'm sorry to hear you feel let down. As you mention, I was on a small break away, which is a rare occurrence! I do normally, whenever possible, serve tea and cake to our guests on arrival, if they arrive before 6pm. On this occasion I understand that Lewis didn't do this but that he did leave you homemade cake in your room, where there is of course a very comprehensive tea/coffee tray. Not quite the same but a pretty good second best. We don't remake beds every day, we fold them down to air the linen, however the bin should have been emptied, and I can only apologise for that. On a more positive note, I am glad that you liked the beautiful Hollins Hill View Room with amazing view and our stunning location.

Superb view from the room
That's exactly it! I didn't make a note of the prices, sorry, but I remember thinking that they were about the same price as your average supermarket.
