We stayed on the tent field for 2 nights with our 2 children who have never been camping and it was great! Lovely friendly staff in reception, field in good condition and the toilet/shower facilities were great! Very clean and nice and warm inside. They even have a family room which was great for us having a 4 year old... More

The place is quiet and relaxing. Margaret, the owner is very kind and friendly. The welcome drink and cake made you feel like at home. The breakfast was excellent with lots of fresh fruits! Big portion that kept us full until dinner. The bed was large and comfy. Excellent Internet connection. It's really good value for money.

We booked in here for three nights stay. We fell in love with the lovely quiet location and superbly appointed rooms, which were spotlessly clean and had lots of nice touches. We received a lovely warm welcome from the landlady and we're treated to tea and cake. The breakfast was superb and plentiful. We didn't want to leave but will... More

Hubby and I stayed at Knotlow for two nights last week; we loved it. Our room was super clean and comfy, with a great bathroom. Walk-in shower with powerful hand-held shower head. The bed was heavenly! The view out our window was lovely, with cows and sheep grazing in the field nearby. We appreciated the small fridge with milk for... More

I had stayed at Knotlow before, so when I needed somewhere to stay for a night on way South I went for Knotlow. I had a really friendly welcome when I arrived, and my room was great. Really clean, and had everything I needed. Location is great for walks and visits to Bakewell and other places. Plenty of parking and... More

We love this campsite, lovely area, clean showers and toilets, with the added bonus of being able to hire a camp fire, not to mentioned homemade pizza's, and breakfasts available to order, its a perfect rural back to nature campsite with little quirky additions. and they don't charge silly prices for awning's, dogs and all the other things that a... An excellent bed and breakfast experience. Guests want for nothing. Very comfortable bed; spotless bathroom with toiletries; hairdryer; even a refrigerator with water and fresh milk! All followed by a delicious breakfast with plenty of variety. Thank you to a very kind, welcoming and accommodating host.

Shower facilities well designed and maintained at the campsite. The field was sloped as stated on the website but just as the website says there are lots of good places to pitch a tent as there is so much space. Freezer for ice blocks. Washing up facilities under cover and in the light. Showers only take 20p coins.

Stayed in a yurt on the campsite at Knotlow Farm, for a four day midweek girly getaway (we are all in our 50s and 60s, mind). It rained, and rained, and rained... Luckily, the yurt was really cosy, with a log burner, gas burner, 15 tog duvets, feather pillows and comfy futons. The heated shower block was 160 paces away... More
