Stayed here on Sunday evening as we were going to the Royal Welsh Show, idon't know why but when 2 older ladies are travelling together we get put up in the rooms in the rafters, luckily here there was a lift so my friend who suffers with asthma wasn't too breathless when we reached the top of the house, it... Me and my partner were attending a wedding over the weekend. The place is absolutely beautiful, stunning and quirky. All the staff were so polite, friendly and very approachable. The food was lovely, very tasty breakfast each morning and the bar food was good and the potion sizes were massive, drinks were very reasonably priced. We had a standard double room... More

I have recently organised a military reunion for 40 people at Baskerville Hall Hotel. From the start of my preparations to saying goodbye after a fantastic weekend the staff at Baskerville Hall could not have been more helpful. The Hotel is entirely quirky, with rooms for all budgets with an option to camp if thats your thing. During the weekend... More

This is one quirky but charming hotel. We required 3 rooms for 2 couples & a family with 2 dogs & found ourselves on the top floor, which is basically in the roof. Stunning views through the balustrades though. It is in need of some modernisation, as a lot of the decor & fittings in our rooms seem to be... More

Stayed for two nights with my wife and enjoyed every minute. The hotel is in a truly beautiful location, with the town of Hay-on-Wye a handy 10 minutes by car away. The hotel is an an interesting building with a character and charm all of its' own. Our room was amazing, with a huge four-poster bed, a colossal circular sunken... More

I recently stayed at the Baskerville Hall Hotel at an organised event. As a building, as others have said, it is a big old rambling building that has seen better days. But that said as a place to stay when I was wet and dirty (I'd ridden my bike through floods to get there!) it was just perfect. I was... More

I was treated to a 'surprise' stay at Baskerville Hall Hotel as a birthday treat and thoroughly loved my stay there - a wonderful romantic setting. We stayed in room 1 - a very large beautiful room with a large round sunken bath & en-suite rooms, huge four poster bed, chaise lounge and other period furniture. The entire hotel and... More

I organised a 4 night break for 27 people from my local Ramblers Group. Communication with the hotel before we went was excellent so I was able to agree the menu and pricing in advance so that all our dietary requirements would be catered for. The rooms come in a variety of sizes and prices with even the largest rooms... More

Set in the heart of some wonderful countryside the Baskerville Hotel is an ideal place for walkers or other such groups to use whilst exploring the local countryside. It is a building that steps back in time and needs some additional tender loving care to update it into a modern comfortable hotel. There is a very varied array of accommodation... More

Baskerville Hall Hotel is a beautiful, large house converted into an hotel. We had an executive room with en suite bathroom. The room was huge, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with an enormous bathtub! The staff are pleasant and very helpful and the food is good. The Hotel's location is superb; our room looked out onto the... More
