Me and my girlfriend visited Wed (Feb 15th) at lunchtime and we had a great meal. I had lasagne which came with a big side salad, coleslaw and two pieces of garlic bread plus I added a side of chips - all very tasty. My girlfriend had scampi and chips and enjoyed that also. Both had fudge cake for dessert...

Oh my goodness, that was amazing. Recently we've been disappointed with pubs in Chepstow and their roasts but not today. Today I ate more than I thought possible because I was NOT leaving anything. I want to eat here every week but my husband says he'll miss my roasts. An absolute winner !

We stayed here while in the Chepstow area for 3 days. Rooms were good other than personal preferences (beds a bit soft for my liking) and the morning English breakfast just made things easy. The bar is lively in the evening and the staff are great. My largest thumbs up for this place is for their staff who were always...

On Saturday my friends and I went out for lunch and tried Wetherspoons but went straight back out as it's just awful there (I have left a review about it!) so we decided to go to the George instead. This is the 3rd time I have eaten at the George since it has been taken over by new management and...

So, we had, had a great day at the races and ventured into town. We actually wanted to watch the football and have some food. There was not a huge choice and we got to this place. In honesty, from the outside, at night, it was not impressive and a little look inside and it looked a bit like a...

Visited here with my girlfriend on Friday 14th Oct - got a BBQ chicken and bacon 'melt' baguette to share, plus some curly fries, onion rings and Cheesy garlic bread Absolutely fantastic food - all clearly freshly made, no frozen rubbish. Great portions particularly the onion rings and curly fries. All that plus 2 drinks came to £17 - good...

It was lovely to pop in for Sunday lunch recently as new management have taken over. It has a lovely relaxed feeling inside and the staff are all attentive and friendly. We are all vegetarian so a good Sunday lunch is tricky to find, however the vegetables were cooked to perfection and there were plenty of them. The only slight...
