Impressive building in a gorgeous location. Hotel is out the way, quiet and relaxing. Beautiful walks along the Tay from the front door. Rooms are very comfortable, breakfast standard. A bit pricey, but definitely classy.

We were not advised on arrival of the ongoing intrusive building works in the hotel. We have been regular visitors for many years but never again. We had to wy cold during a ait for various workmen to stand back to pass in the corridors, there were permanently open door on the ground floor making the hotel very cold. The...

Arrived 12th Jan. Extensive building work on ground floor access to rooms. No signage to separate guests from workmen. Following day at breakfast drilling noise from work proceeding on patio and pm workmen taking all curtains down in front of guests. Complained to manager who seemed less than interested. Only plus point was that we were upgraded from horrid refurbished...

Second visit with my husband. 4 star? Not a chance! Carried own bags to room through heavy doors and long corridors. Came for a rest - loud, noisy guests at functions taking place at the hotel - we would like to have been warned, as they pretty much took over the bar, restaurant and ante-rooms in their singlets, shorts and...

We stayed at Dunkeld House twice over the New Year period, once on the 28th December, which was a little shambolic, and again after Hogmanay when things had settled down and returned to normal, The hotel is undergoing refurbishment, and some of the rooms are still needing work. The restaurant has a few quirks. At night the majority of staff...

Stayed here for a week just before it left the Hilton stable. Very much the epitome of a traditional ountry house hotel. A bit rough around the edges but with a heart and a welcoming fire on a cold night.

Thank you alanmcc_3. We left the Hilton stable in May of last year. Since then we have embarked on a £2m refurb programme to sharpen up the edges to which you refer. Hope to see you back again soon, to experience the new Dunkeld House Hotel. PW

Have to admit I was apprehensive of 5 day bed, breakfast and dinner reservations I had made earlier in the year when this was under Hilton Hotel management. First point was I would get none of the benefits of being a Hilton regular, ie free room upgrade opportunities, dressing gowns, etc., etc. Second my wife invited my disabled 95 year...

Great relaxed scenic setting Very peaceful & ideal get away. Visited on itison offer which included use of leisure facilities & prosecco afternoon tea. Leisure facilities were great, clean & relaxed atmosphere staff were helpful & friendly only thing would suggest is maybe have couple extra sun loungers. Afternoon tea was amazing & very tasty will definetly be back.
