We've been coming to this hotel for 15 years and although there is renovation work going on it is nice to see it being given some much needed TLC! Seems like a new improved approach with staff bending over backwards to help you. Much better service in the restaurant than when owned by Hilton. Food much better too. Excited to... More

We stayed in one of the lodges and had a wonderful time, The lodge was right up there, with some of the best we have ever experienced whilst self catering. Our every need was satisfied, space, comfort and glorious views from the sun room when we enjoyed a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. However, knowing that we... More

The Dunked House Hotel is set in a beautifully secluded location beside the river Tay just outside Dunkeld. The hotel is currently under refurbishment but this didn't affect us at all. Our room was very modern and comfortable and the meals were fine dining standard expected of a 4 star hotel. The menu selection was a tad restricted in choice however... More

When we drove up the driveway to the Hotel, we all felt excited. It looked amazing. Our suite looked great and it was really a great start to the weekend. However, unfortunately the hotel did not live up to initial first impression and I have to say, it was just lack of organisation and due diligence that let it down.... More

The driveway is a mile long and a stag welcomes you at the door. This was my 4th visit to Dunkeld house hotel and the first since it's Hilton divorce. The hotel perhaps needed a new love and it seems the new owners are the knight in shining armour giving it the needed spruce up without straying too far from... More

All the staff were very good, the location is really nice, if spoiled a little by renovation/repair work going on at the moment. Went for a afternoon tea. I am easy please but I though the sandwiches provided were not good. Smoked salmon looked to be the end cuts, tinned salmon was underwhelming, the coronation chicken tasted like it had... More

This is a beautiful hotel in a stunning setting, we stayed in the lodges which were very well equipped, the grounds and drive in are tremendous and the hotel is well on the way to a good refurb so taking shape. The wildlife is amazing, we awoke each day to deer in front of our bedroom window and you could... More

First time visiting since the sale from hilton. The rooms and some of the public areas have been redecorated, lovely Scottish theme with the trade mark deer and antlers running through hotel. Also a slight modern twist. Only thing that wasn't to my taste was the grey and black striped bedroom carpet. The service was very good and the food... More

Driving up the long lane way, seeing the deer and pheasant roaming around, the ruins on the estate, the Tay running alongside...then the hotel. Yes, this is a bit pricey but worth it. The food was fantastic, the staff was excellent. Walking around the grounds was extremely peaceful.
