Have just returned from a weeks coach holiday with David Urquhart Travel and stayed at the Glenmorag Hotel, well from the outside the hotel stands out high about the trees .a steep hill to get to the hotel if you are on foot. Coaches had to reverse back up to the main entrance .The hotel itself is very tired looking... More

Outside and hallway promised much but room was grubby and TV whistled all the time. Food was very poor at breakfast _ why no option for Scottish breakfast? Had to wade through a cloud of smokers to get into the hotel. make sure you get a sea view - we looked out through a dirty window onto the fire escape... More

Arrived after a long journey and refused to stay in the hotel - our room (No 72) was filthy: old, stained, dirty matress and bedding, stained smelly quilt and pillows - bar of used soap on bed. Windows hadn't been cleaned for months, upholstery stained, drapes and carpet dirty and dusty. Doubt the old TV would pass a PAT test.... More

My husband and I had a very enjoyable 3 nights in the Glenmorag. We only paid £69 each for our 3 nights dinner, bed and breakfast! At that price we were only looking for clean beds and decent food, so we were very pleasantly surprised to find the food excellent with a varied menu. The full Breakfast was lovely and... More

The hotel was great, spotlessly clean, a little old fashioned but was lovely, views were amazing, bed comfortable, good powerful shower, clean fluffy towels. For the price of this holiday it was amazing value. The staff at the hotel... More
