Friend recommended this as great place for good, fresh, homemade pub food. Booked ahead and glad we did. Warm welcome from staff. Lovely dining room with river views, snug lounge with wood burning stove which was welcome on such a frosty wintry day. Excellent menu with lots of choice and couple of super sounding specials: monkfish scampi and a tandoori...

We met up with friends for a Christmas dinner and stay for Bed & Breakfast. The Christmas Dinner was excellent and very tasty. 6 of us had a really nice stay, the room was very warm and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was superb - full English. A little expensive but it was good.

Very welcoming and the views are stupendous. Food selection was unfortunately very predictable. The availability of gluten free food was poor. My husband was offered an omelette which is not what is wanted when going out for a meal. It struck me that there was a distinct lack of knowledge or interest in specific dietary needs.

We went there on the recommendation of my brother who is a local. The Catalan fish stew was one of the best meals I have ever had. My partner had the same and we agreed that it was excellent. Will definitely visit again.

We had 2delicious meals at the Osborne. The staff were friendly and very attentive. The choice of food was excellent and the lamb meal was outstanding. We were very impressed and would recommend this restaurant. The added bonus was the view over the Clyde ....wonderful!

We've just got back from a lovely two night stay at the Osborne. Hosts Pete and Elliot are very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable of the local area. Our room (number 1) was spacious, clean and had stunning views. We ate at the hotel both nights and couldn't fault anything, service was brilliant from the whole team and the food was...

Ate in the Osbourne twice. Had Turf and Surf and I have to admit I have not eaten any better anywhere else and that considers the very posh and expensive steak restaurant in my hometown. You will sit in front row with view of firth of Clyde and the boat traffic. The Osbourne has got a small team but everyone...
