We stayed for one night before travelling to France. Having looked at previous reviews, we were expecting something much better. The room was extremely small with a musty smell and very dated. The beds were very lumpy and pillows hard. Whilst the owner was kind and helpful, this did not make up for a total lack of sleep. Room was... More

£90 for one night for a family of five , no breakfast inc. The room was very clean , but very small and straight in from the front door. The room wasn't real suitable for five people, as it was very small. The ensuite was a cupboard with a shower unit and toilet combined....something I've never seen before.... There are... More

We stayed in a family room for one night. The owner rang us the day before our visit to ask what time we were arriving and let us know that an early arrival would not be a problem. On arrival the owner was incredibly friendly and showed us to our room. It was fresh and clean with a double bed... More

Margarita is the most friendly and most helpful host you could ever ask for, nothing is too much trouble. The house is very clean and tidy. The room is a tad small however it has a comfortable bed, the one downside is the very small bathroom, so if you want a bigger bathroom this is not the place for you,... More

We stayed at this guest house on the 31st of August 2015 paying £81 for 1 nights stay. We stayed in the family room with 4 people (4 people in our 20s) in total on the top floor. We dealt with a Chinese/Asian lady upon arrival who was really really nice, we had to set off for the ferry at... More

The location was good, the room was clean, breakfast was good, owner was very friendly. But the room was very small. Too smal for two adults and suitcases. The beds were also very small. The same for the bathroom. Very small Next time we wil stay somewhere else.

Margarita, the owner, was the friendliest, most helpful owner we have ever dealt with at a B&B. We were there for 6 days, and when she saw how much luggage we had she moved us to a larger room. Everything was spotless, she spent a lot of her time cleaning! Breakfast was excellent. The continental was plenty-cereal, yogurt, croissants, fruit... More

Very welcoming and good value. Would recommend for 1 night stop over when using the ferry or tunnel. I was running late travelling from the North East and the kind owner stayed up past 11 to let me in

Friendly and cosy guesthouse 10 minutes walk from Harbour. The bedroom is spotless; had to go for takeaway breakfast so cannot leave a proper comment. The bathroom is far too small though (and we are small people) and also lack of Wi-Fi a bit of a downer.

Enjoyed a comfortable stay, albeit for one night. We received a warm welcome from Margareta. The hotel was clean and the bed comfortable. We were well looked after. the Hotel is 5 minutes from the centre of Folkestone which is ideal to go for a stroll and a meal. I would recommend a stay especially for those bound for the... More
