Lady barely put phone down to check me in. Decor is 1940's. Paint peeling, damp walls Rooms are tiny, paint peeling, fap patches, shower from upstairs leaked into mine. Didn't fancy pulling the covers back on the. Bed so sl in my sleeping bag.

Stayed in the windsor for 2 nights on the 1/7/16 while at a family wedding we had drove from glasgow. After readding the reviews on this i was dredding it BUT to be honest it was a room with beds and a bathroom with a shower was all we needed. The rooms are a bit dated and could do with a... More

This is a two star hotel and is exactly what it states it is. Stopped here overnight on route to Dover so did not have the breakfast in the morning (£7 additional for breakfast). I booked hotel online and it was very cheap - £54 for a family room. For £54 I wasn't expecting much. Parking was a pain- out... More

£15 per night per person is what we paid on october 26 . We wanted a bed for the night And that is what we got, clean sheets, clean towels, kettle, cups, and tv.. The negative comments about this hotel is unfair imo.. what do you expect fot the price the ritz, or the hilton, if yes then pay the... More

Honestly, people are mean. Yes, it's reminiscent of Bill Bryson's first experience in England as in Notes from a Small Island BUT we had 2 x triple rooms, each with a) hot water b) clean sheets c) kettle facilities d) en suite e) parking opposite (if room f) windows that opened and g) a towel each. What's the problem! And... More

To be fair we booked this hotel very last minute as it was the only one left in the area and at £40 a night it was the cheapest too, the guy running it was friendly enough and the room as much as it wasn't massive it was clean and clean towels were provided, we literally used it as a... More

You get what you pay for! The hotel is very tired and needs a complete revamp, or bulldozing! Stairs are poorly lit, no sign of fire escape. Room is alright with very soft beds. Curtains are effective at keeping sunlight out. Shower eventually ran hot. Virtually no parking anywhere near hotel unless very lucky. If this is 2 star I... More
