22 of us stayed here to celebrate my 50th birthday on a windy weekend in February! Rooms have been refurbished to a high standard and whilst they're not overly large they have everything you need. Beds and pillows were really comfortable and buffet breakfast was excellent, good selection of hot breakfast along with cereals, pastries etc. We had dinner at...

After a bit of a mix up with the booking system (apparently hotel.com are to blame!) we were checked into our room. Room was spotless, nicely furnished and decorated with lovely period features such as high ceilings. Positives - Very clean, comfortable bed, nice bedding and pillows, large shower cubicle and good quality fittings. Negatives - room was very hot...

We visited Folkestone for a birthday party so only stayed at the View for one night. It was a lovely stay though, a huge room with a sea view and absolutely immaculate. The bathroom was gleaming with a choice of bath or power shower. Breakfast was a real treat, so much choice and eggs cooked to order. Looking forward to...

Hubby and I stayed at this hotel as part of an early Valentine package in conjunction with their restaurant The Cliffe. The room was more than adequate although it was a fair old climb up 3 flights of stairs due to a lift being broken! The view from the room was worth the climb and we had a delightful en-suite...

Had one round of drinks here with friends. Fantastic views over the Channel. Modern decor in Bar. However service was extremely slow, even though it was not busy during the day. Cocktails are £8.50 each. They are put into large glasses crammed with ice cubes, which waters them down quickly. When my friend asked for less ice, the bar man...

Four of us went down to this new hotel for New Year's Eve. Fantastic staff throughout, they really made an effort to ensure that the entire evening went off with a bang. Bar staff were constantly busy, but never a long wait for drinks, they even had a smaller temporarupy bar rigged up by the dance floor to minimise dance-drink...

Large friendly and recently smartly refurbished hotel. Lovely large room with sea view, very tasty bar snacks and helpful waiting staff. Breakfast was not much to shout about but adequate. Altogether very recommended for a short stay.

Room 108 looks directly over the wonderful Leas with a floor to ceiling bay window that makes the most of this glorious view. I can understand why you would be reluctant to put anything in front to obscure uninterrupted views across to France. However, to enjoy the view, there is only one chair ( at the desk) so if a...

Very well refurbished with a lovely lobby, restaurant and rooms- every single one looks out onto the seafront. Stayed here for the New Year's Eve event and had a really fun time. The staff look after guests excellently and make sure they have the perfect stay. It is also fabulous to come to The View for lunch or dinner as...

Obviously recently re-furbished to a good standard. Had a fantastic overnight New Year stay with free glasses of champagne, Prosecco, buffet and a party with live music & dancing. All in all a great night. The room was warm and comfortable, well appointed with a huge double bed, en-suite, TV and tea & coffee facilities. The food in the buffet...
