We arrived just after 10pm and the owner welcomed us in and asked if we had eaten, she said they had a Greek restaurant downstairs and said if we wanted to have a meal there she would have a word so that we could eat a hot meal. We were so glad she did, we had a lovely meal with...

We spent two nights on a short break at the Hamlet hotel in February. The room was warm and comfortable and we had no problems with the TV and wifi. We dined at the hotel's own Greek restaurant which provided excellent food in a pleasant environment. The lady who runs the hotel was very friendly and welcoming and the continental...

Stayed one night on way to Dover and was impressed with the room for the price. We arrived late but were welcomed by owner. As we were up early too we were surprised to find owner cooking us a small breakfast (egg and bacon) which was a really nice touch. So nice that despite the 5 hour drive I would...

My wife and I stayed here for a night as we were visiting relatives locally. We stay in this area regularly and thought this might be a good mid-range place to stay, sadly we were disappointed. Upon arrival the building is currently clad in scaffolding, we tried not to let this put us off. The lady who met us was...

We were given a wonderful welcome for our one night stay. We had a very early start the following morning and the lady was all smiles and even prepared a packed breakfast for us to take away. The location is great for the shuttle , it's right opposite the beach and 2 minutes walk from lots of shops and restaurants....

This hotel is more like a family business. Location wise is good, right next to the sea with no views though, and it basically an old Victorian house turned into a hotel. The hostest is a lovely irish lady who is very welcoming and very friendly. There is no parking provided but you can by a parking permit from the...

In april we stayed with kids for one night: two clean and nicely decorated rooms. We appreciated the couch in our room very much. The Hamlet Hotel is a friendly accommodation and services a good breakfast. We enjoyed our short visit!
