A very good week here. Surprisingly busy at times and a good cross section of nationality here. A superb breeze most of the time made this very pleasant. The shower blocks were we maintained and water pressure great. Very consistent temperature too. Both blocks well cleaned. Useful. Shop loaned freezer blocks for £1 deposit and exchanged for 50p Nice walk... More

I've been camping at this site for well over 40 years and it never lets me down. Stunning views and walks and positioned within walking distance of the improving town of Folkestone and the charming harbour and the new Harbour Arm. Beach rugged, many walks and make sure you get to the Coastal Walk area situated on the Lower Sandgate... More

Can't fault the welcome we received nor the clean facilities nor the setting above the sea. However the beach isn't the most attractive, the walk to Folkestone included a lot of concrete and the town itself is so down at heel. As a stop off point before or after crossing the channel then why not. I can't imagine why anyone... More

We stayed here last weekend, it is only about half an hour from home, and had a really lovely time. We have stayed here before but quite a few years ago. The site and facilities are very well kept. The beach area that site overlooks is great fun. We spent two days down there beach combing and returning to our... More

We stayed at the Warren for the first time over the bank holiday weekend. We know Folkestone quite well from visiting family, and have usually gone for the Premier Inn or Holiday Inn type accommodation. It was all booked up and horrendously expensive over the bank holiday so we decided to camp. It was the best decision and we enjoyed... More

Arrived on Friday lovely and quite. Then the pitch opposite had 5 cars on it with 8 adults and 8 children! It was like a refugee campsite. So sad as last year we had a fantastic time. They were very intrusive and came on our pitch to play boules. I was so shocked the amount of people allowed. The manager... More

As this was my husbands first camping trip we stayed here as only about an hours drive away, and we know the area well. Excellent site with very friendly and helpful staff. Nice size pitches with lovely views. Our pitch had space for 2 tents and we certainly had plenty of space, other pitches good size also. Bathroom and washing... More

Had a lovely weekend at this site, this was the first time I've ever been camping in fact, was given a lovely pitch (which may be due to being one of the first to arrive). The toilets and showers are very modern and cleaned regular, this is the same for the washing facilities too. Staff were very friendly and helpful,... More

Smaller than most campsites I've been too, but in a great location and with all essential facilities. It is a steep drive down from the edge of the town, but feels like it is in the middle of nowhere! Staff were friendly and helpful, washrooms fine and easy to walk down to the seashore. Keep an eye out for rabbits... More

We stayed here over the August bank holiday weekend and would definitely go back. The staff were a little off at first but I think this was due to poor timing (it was bank holiday after all) as after that they couldn't be more friendly. The site is small with great views and the pitches are well spaced to avoid... More
