As I've stayed at The Croppers Arms a couple of times last year I had no trouble deciding where to stay recently. I booked through my laterooms app on my phone and I caught the train to Huddersfield. A short taxi ride got me to The Croppers Arms on this wet and windy night and I entered and introduced myself.... More

I stayed here with my dad and brother and had a great time, the owners are lovely, the breakfast in the morning was awesome, rooms were basic but we were hardly in there! The pub downstairs does the BEST meals and such good value!

A great night spent at the establishment, the rooms were well heated and very quiet despite on a main road. The room was lovely and the bathroom actually had a bath in it. Breakfast was so filling and staff were super helpful and give great service. I would definitely stay again, especially with the yummy food available in the bar.

This is a pleasant old fashioned style pub with a few rooms and a restaurant. We needed a reasonably priced place to stay overnight in Huddersfield and are very pleased to have ended up at the Croppers Arms. It is a modest establishment but the hosts have made sure that everything is there for a comfortable stay: free wifi, plenty... More

I have previously stayed at the Croppers and on this occasion I booked well in advance as quite often all the rooms are full. I was allocated room 2 which is at the rear of the building overlooking the car park. Gorgeous room which had obviously been recently decorated and as before, was very clean with a really good powerful... More

I travel a lot with my job and I see a wide range of hotel standards. The Croppers is truly a hidden gem and great value for money when your on a strict accommodation budget. Good sized clean room with a nice modern en suite bathroom. Ideally located near shops and handy for the M62. Friendly accommodating staff and an... More

We have been lots of other places only to find the Christmas roast dinner is terrible. Not here everything was hot and the stuffing very homemade not plastic like most. The staff are speedy and try to keep move... More

When we first arrived everything looked fine, but on returning for the night we realised the floor hadn't been vacuumed and the bed was full of hairs. The bed was either not changed or the sheets were not shaken before/after washing. We didn't stay. It's just the basics really. In other respects the room was fine, though the mattress was... More

For a very reasonable price I had bed and breakfast at the Arms. Although above the public house there was very little noise even at 10.00 pm. That is not to say the public house was quite though, the quiz night was busy and the locals were very friendly. The evening meals are pub fare but at a good price... More
