What an awful place. Luton is to be avoided at the best of times and The Chiltern does its reputation no good whatsoever. Chose this place to meet some business colleagues for coffee and a couple of meetings during the day. Well let's start with the car park. DO NOT venture into the overflow at the back. Dirty! Messy, desolate....

Stayed at the Chiltern Hotel recently and i have to say its the worst hotel i have ever stayed in , its no better than a hostel. Room was dirty & smelly, Breakfast cost £9 and the food was cold , i complained to man at reception and was told that if i was not happy with food i could...

I would urge any prospective guests to give this place a very wide berth! Shabby/dirty/tired rooms; chilly reception & rooms (you would need a coat on); hard beds. Lukewarm, unappealing breakfast; no restaurant. I could go on. Everything seems to be done "on the cheap". Reception seems uninterested. From the outside it looks reasonable - but don't be fooled.

I was put up in this hotel by EasyJet when my flight was cancelled. Unpleasant smell in bedroom, dirty carpet, layer of dust on tea/coffee mugs, bedding didn't fully cover mattress. Bathroom was ok, apart from fact that water of shower seemed to not regulate and it was scorching hot making it unusable. Didn't have breakfast as it didn't start...

This has to be the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Stayed two nights. The room wasn't cleaned, no toilet paper, shabby facilities, worn out towels. The bar didn't even stay open after 11.30 to make it more bearable. Wouldn't recommend.

This hotel really needs a make over. Carpets, furniture, yes everything is quite worn out. In addition you hear all the traffic noise from the street. Service in reception as I came also not very convincing. For business travelling location is convenient, otherwise not much positive to say

Stop over from a flight to France. I thought it seemed dated and I felt like I was in an 80's movie but the room was clean and the staff nice enough. The elevator worked fine ( I see in other reviews it didn't, so we were lucky there) . There was an Indian wedding rehearsal going on but I...

I'd give this a zero if I could..flight from Luton was cancelled so wizzair sent us to this hotel for the night before flying again in the morning. Oh my god - I'm sure this place is a refugee holding centre. The receptionist was as friendly as a hungry wild boar and the hotel itself...please save your money and go...
