10 reasonably well appointed rooms, but with one or two niggling problems. We started out with 15 of us last weekend to celebrate Astrid and Tims 10th wedding anniversary. The kitchen was very well equipped. We've stayed in many houses over the years and found that we were short of serving dishes. Not so here. Plenty of pans, dishes, plates...

Stayed here for a business offsite, with 7 colleagues - it can sleep a lot more than that but only if you want to share rooms (which we didn't). For our purposes, it worked pretty well - the dining room makes a good conference room, the bar area and sitting room made for good evening discussion areas, and the morning...

A great place to stay with friends and family as there are plenty of lovely rooms . Build a lovely roaring fire and then get behind the bar to serve a few drinks ! Very comfortable lounge and large dining room so everyone can eat together along with a well appointed kitchen . Well situated for visiting local holiday spots...

Every year my university friends and I plan an annual trip away. As the years have gone by we have multiplied from 9 to 18 and we always struggle to find a place that not only fits us all in, but accommodates us all around a dining table, is child friendly and has enough bathrooms! Dragon House did all of...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in early September while attending a wedding in the nearby village of Withycombe. We were in Room 1 (I think - it was the first room that you come to at the top of the stairs) which was very spacious with a Kingsize bed, and had an adjoining room with two...

My wife and I stayed 2 nights on 12th. 13th. Sept. Our room was immaculate, very clean and the towels were really fluffy. We had 2 small dogs and the hotel were very dog friendly. The breakfast was exceptional, a full English was a good start to the day. We really enjoyed our visit and will certainly be back again.

Had a lovely 2 night stay. Nice Hotel with character. Good quality food but sadly evening meal choice was a bit limited in variation. Friendly staff and a good location for various activities and places to see. Would certainly visit again if in that area.

Having business interests in the Minehead area I have spent over the last 18 months on average two nights a week at the Dragon House which is on the main road from Bridgewater to Minehead and about 12 miles before you get to Minehead. If you are looking for a modern featureless place to stay then don't come to the...

We stayed in room 1 with our two children; we were expecting one room with beds for all of us but were pleasantly surprised to find the children's beds were in a separate room off the main room, so we could put them to bed and not have to sit outside the bedroom door! The children's beds were fold-out beds...
