It has been a long time since we last chose to go to the south west coast for a weekend. And what a find "The Langbury" is at Blue Anchor. More of a contemporary beach house than traditional fayre with nice bits of artwork scattered here and there. Very comfortable and relaxing. Not only a beautiful setting, but such lovely... More

The Langbury is a four star bed and breakfast situated on a peaceful and picturesque stretch of coastline. I stayed for three nights, with my mum, in the twin room on the ground floor. Paula and Nigel are excellent hosts, the rooms are clean and comfortable and their breakfasts, delicious. Nigel cooks a lovely scrambled egg with smoked salmon. You... More

From the warm, personalised welcome we knew this was going to be a pleasant stay. Nigel and Paula are super hosts and welcomed us in with a quick tour of the Langbury and an invitation to take tea or coffee in the garden (with a piece of cake) once we had settled in to the room. Our room (The Dunster... More

We cannot put into words how much we love the Langbury. This was our third stay and, yet again, we loved it. Paula and Nigel were as warm and as friendly as ever; their hospitality is second to none. The accommodation faultless. The breakfast is so delicious, thank you x

On arrival we were met my Paula and Nigel, they were the most fantastic hosts and we were given a guided tour and then offered tea and lemon drizzle cake in the garden (home made and so yummy!) We were shown our room which overlooked the beautiful garden which was immaculate. The bathroom had a roll top bath with overhead... More

Spent five days here in June. Everything has been said really - the Langbury has a relaxed and informal atmosphere and the hosts, Nigel and Paula, are genuinely nice people who cannot do enough to make your stay special. Breakfasts are excellent and all your needs are catered for - toiletries, sweeties, fruit etc. We stayed in a twin room... More

We have been to Nigel and Paula's for the last five years and it is like visiting old friends we are made to feel so welcome. The Langbury is our most favourite of all places we have been. Nothing is to much trouble, everywhere is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. There is a good choice of breakfast that is excellent... More
