We have just come back from a one-night stay at The Vineyard under the Taste of Spa offer, which was fantastic. The staff really went out of their way to be friendly, and we were really treated like royalty - the hotel should be commended for that. The food and spa treatments were also superb - well recommended!

My wife and I decided to give the afternoon tea a try. Booking this online seemed very efficient and the hotel also called me a few days before to confirm that our plans hadn't changed. We booked at 3.30pm slot and arrived at 3.25pm; promptly announcing our arrival to a young lady on reception. The young lady vanished for a... More

Extremely well stocked wine cellar with a glass floor to view it from. Rooms are very spacious and well designed . Although you will get lost many times when returning from the bar & restaurant . There are some good options for dining , we chose the Tasting Discovery . A set 5 or 7 course meal with the advised... More

We had a very special time here . Really loved the hotel and our room was wonderful, calm and well laid out. The spa was enjoyable but could probably do with extending and more facilities. An outdoor hot tub would work well. I had a treatment and the therapist was very good. Tricky I know but it would be great... More

Joanne K. Rowling must have been here when she created the idea of Hogwarts. This thought came to my mind after I had arrived for the first time to this very traditional place and had to find my way to the room. Long small corridors, upstairs and downstairs, many corners. This is not meant to sound critical, but when you... More

I stayed here with my partner for a 2 night birthday break. In short it was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We ate in the bar and the main restaurant. On both occasions we had the sommeliers recommend wine to accompany our meals, convincing us to try new wines we hadn't had before. Romain, the Head... More

The food was great. The staff from reception through to the bar and then in the dining area were excellent. My room was better than expected with comfy bed and pillows, also great to be able to link to the speaker via Bluetooth and listen to music whilst getting ready.

Just gorgeous hotel, so beautiful, stayed in the Atrium Suite which was gorgeous with little balcony and very spacious. Would definitely recommend for a romantic night away. We were there for a work trip and the food was delicious.

We have stayed at this hotel quite a few times, but not for a few years. So we took the opportunity to have a one night stay whilst in the area again. We were not disappointed, it had its familiar feel even though there has been a slight change in the reception/foyer area but all to the good. Once we... More

We booked a table at the restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our table was at the lower level and it was nice to admire the decor in particular the hand rail to the stairs. It is clear that the Chef is passionate about food and is keen to deliver the highest standard of cooking. Even the plates by their... More
