We arrived just after lunch and the welcome was very warm and friendly. The Landlord asked us which table we would like for our evening meal and reserved it for us.

Five of us visited the pub at lunchtime, halfway through a walk in the area. Good selection of beers, great sandwiches and professional, friendly service. Clearly the place is being revamped - nice looking carpentry. Would certainly go there again!
A very pleasant and easy stay. This pub ouzes character and charm. The bedroom was nicely decorated and the bed comfy. Shared bathroom was fine although not next to the room.
