Stayed here recently for the first time. Initial impression was a little unfavourable because we apparently arrived "too early" (shades of Blackpool boarding houses of bygone days). We had not been told when we booked that check-in time was 5.30 pm onwards, but we were allowed in at 5.20 pm and shown to our room. Things got much better from... More

We stayed her for a night last month. The staff are very friendly and the meal we had was very good. The scotch egg is amazing. The breakfast was also very good quality. Only problem we had was the heating wasn't on in our room when we arrived so it was extremely cold, an oil filled radiator had been provided... More

Lovely meal, we were able to eat in the bar with the dogs. Same menu as in the restaurant and very cozy. Will go again. Plenty of parking, real fire. Brilliant (friendly staff). Was far to full after our main meal but the dessert menu looked scrummy. Will definitely eat in the countryside pub again!

Just had a pleasant stay at the Inn. The room was nice, I would say 3 star, but the food makes this a 4 star review. We ate in the restaurant for dinner. The lengths that the staff and chef went to, to make sure I got Gluten Free food was fantastic and really appreciated. (I called in advance regarding... More

We'd visited The Coachman for Sunday lunch a few months ago and were impressed with the food, the presentation and the service so when looking for somewhere to stay within easy reach of the North Yorkshire Moors for an over-night break with friends, it seemed the ideal destination. The Coachman is a wonderful example of an English country pub and... More

Good old English Inn with a relatively small bar and an adjacent dining room of a similar size. Serving real ales and great food. We stayed 1 night and ate dinner in the dining room. The food was interesting and cooked to order. When I say ‘interesting’ I mean not just your pie n chips stuff. My Tomato soup was... More

The tiny village of Snainton hosts this gorgeous old coaching inn dating back to the 17th century I think . The hostess Anna ( all the way from Frisco,USA ) and her staff were very welcoming and the rooms are more than comfortable and spacious ( I had the dasher room ) . The local beer was spot on ,...
