I decided to book this location having read reviews of of another local hotel and cancelled my booking. Well I was glad I did choose this hotel. Having travelled 200 miles we did arrive just after 1300 hrs, check in was from 1500hrs, but we had no problems and our room was ready for us. The room 314 was on... More

Stayed for one night. Room was suite on 3rd floor. Did not need extra room. Main room and bathroom a bit pokey.Very low water pressure made bath and shower awkward. Nice bar but no terrace to enjoy sunshine. Mean breakfast. Tiny portion of ham and grated cheese which amounted to 2 mouthfuls. English breakfast not much better and about 1... More

Cannot find any fault with our stay at this hotel. Excellent and efficient service from all staff. Good food and location. Did not take advantage of the gym or pool but understand that these are free to use and towels are provided. We were in room 216 which gave us an excellent sea view and it was very spacious and... Had a lovely weekend break at the Red Lea Hotel. It was just a shame about the break down in communication between the reception staff. Long story but one member of staff was most attentive and helpful.

Shared an afternoon tea with my mum on 02 Sep 2016 and it was fabulous. The staff were friendly and the bar area was very comfortable with pleasant views of the park. The other guests we chatted with shared our high opinion of this hotel.

A very nice , clean hotel with great views of the sea. Not sure it suited our age bracket (40+) but that's a personal choice and if required would probably stay again . Staff friendly and very helpful and breakfast nice but not self service. Typical seaside hotel if this is what you are looking for.

I have read other reviews and have to say they are "way off". My daughter and I stopped for one night to go to the new water park. The hotel is very well located close to the spa. The staff are extremely friendly and basically can't do enough for you. The hotel is very clean and welcoming. The room was... More

Stayed here for a long weekend. You can park outside and get a permit from the hotel. The hotel seemed very nice, it was light and airy, the corridors and woodwork were freshly painted. The room we stayed in was a double with a sea view. The bathroom was small but had a bath with a shower over it. The... More

Arrived on Sunday evening at the hotel, room fairly small but comfortable & spotlessly clean. Photo of window view attached, bomb site like view. Evening meal, served on time by smart pleasant & informative staff but, in Yorkshire you would think that making & cooking Yorkshire puddings would be a dawdle, not so, I believe that they, too mark them... We arrived a bit earlier then expected but no problem with having our room. Permit for parking the car was great as it is very limited around the hotel. Our room was fine, very clean & beds were very comfy. Decor was a little dated throughout the hotel but the corridors upstairs looked newly painted & carpeted. The food was... More
