We stayed in the windmill, over the weekend and the views from the balcony were fantastic. The new owners couldn't have been more helpful and the actual accommodation was really clean, modern and cosy.

An absolute Jem of a location.. Hosted by real people, could not have been more obliging. This was there first week at " The Windmill " ? ? ? Also our 1st. Stay here 🤔 We are seasoned B & B weekenders & we look for unusual or different buildings & locations all over Europe. We have stayed in another... More

This is our favourite place to stay in Scarborough. Hidden away, it is full of surprises. Everything about it pleases. The hosts are exceptional. The standards are really high. Comfort and ambiance are second to none. Breakfasts, served within the windmill itself, are varied, beautifully cooked and nicely presented. It is convenient for the railway station and for the Stephen... More

Just stayed Friday and Saturday in this little gem. The couple that own it have just taken over and couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was adequate, clean and tidy with a modern bathroom and wi-fi in the room. Breakfast was very good with everything that was needed. Look forward... More

A lovely place to stay! The owners were lovely and really accommodating. They provided us with a full vegan breakfast that was super tasty, THANK YOU! Clean, friendly, quiet and a short walk away from the seafront. We'd highly recommend The Windmill to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Scarborough. Rachael and Karen

Visited with family and had two rooms for two nights. Did not stay in the Windmill itself but had breakfast in it. What a lovely way to preserve such a lovely old building. Very charming and atmospheric. Rooms were nice, spacious, clean, wi fi worked and we had no complaints. Wouls certainly visit again.

What an excellent place to stay, near to station and just a quick walk to the front.Met by David (owner) on arrival who could not have been more helpful and informative, had a courtyard room which was extremely comfortable and quiet.Had probably the best breakfast I've had when staying anywhere.Stayed 2 nights and will definitely go back ,first class.

Stayed here for 2 nights in a three bedroom cottage. Couldn't fault it, lovely and clean and everything we needed for a mini break in Scarborough. We were met on arrival and shown to the cottage so we could get sorted and then check in officially later on which was great so we could get kids settled (arrived quite late!)... More

Great place, people who run this are really friendly. We stayed in a cottage in the small court yard! Self catering with 2 rooms. The cottage was lovely and clean, provide small amount of tea, coffe, sugar and milk. The rooms are really homely and decorated really nicely. Really spacious, and everything you need for self catering. Only a 5... More

This accommodation was lovely and unique. Once a working windmill and now very nice accommodation. It was clean, very nicely decorated- our room no 7 had a four poster bed. The shower was a little creaky and took a bit of fiddling to get right. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The only let down is the location. It... More
