Last weekend my husband and I visited Greno guesthouse on a last minute decision to visit Scarborough to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We did not book a room as the hotel we have visited for a few years was full. We were lucky Greno had one room left The room was tastefully furnished and decorated. The breakfast was excellent and... Loved the room-sea view! Great tea & coffee provision. Breakfast delicious. Well worth a visit We would go back definitely!! One tiny issue was the TV reception but as we hardly watched it might just have been a bad day!!!

Had a sea view room, really nice, spotlessly clean, comfy bed and well stocked tea tray even had juice which is a lovely touch as my husband doesnt drink warm drinks. The breakfast was really nice, hot and freshly cooked... More

The Greno is a typical seaside guesthouse, one of a long row located high on Blenheim Terrace overlooking the sea and North Bay, only 10-15 minute’s walk from the centre of Scarborough, less to the castle and an easy walk away from the harbour (but remember it’s mostly uphill coming back). The seafront walk along Royal Albert Drive takes significantly... More

A lovely guesthouse where nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious - bearing in mind we are a family of 4 in a family room. Breakfast was plentiful - cereal, cooked breakfast made to order(eggs benedict were the best I've ever tasted and came on a bed of muffin and bacon). The lounge is a... More

Really enjoyed a 3 night stay at the Greno, room 16 a lovely family room with sea views. Clean with comfy beds, Martin made us very welcome and the choice and quality of the breakfasts is wonderful. Thoughtful touches as fruit juice and hot chocolate for the children and masses of tea and cofee in the room. Would stay again.
