Booked weekend away, hotel great for Sea View, parking too. Family Room Double with deprecate Bedroom with Bunk Beds for Grandsons. Clean and Tidy, only gripe would have liked fresh towels for 2nd day. Grandkids enjoyed stay which is all that counts. Found short cut to Scarborough front but would recommend Taxi back as mountain to climb

Have stayed here on a few occasions and it has been a pleasure. The new owners are so welcoming you could not ask for more. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the meals provided are fabulous. Would recommend to all families. See you same time next year !

My wife, 2 kids and me have stayed here (1 nighter) twice now and I have to say we will keep coming back. This is a family run hotel and they staff are helpful, friendly and down to earth. Great value for money, great breakfast and location. Our room had the breathtaking view of Scarborough bay, and the kids had... More

We had a lovely stay here! Friendly and family run. Couldn't fault the room (the family room had an adjoining room for the kids so they had there own space). It was super clean and well decorated. Stuart and Meg really made us all welcome and made a special effort with the kids who loved it as well! Megs shortbread... More

Just returned from another annual holiday to the Stuart House Hotel with 42 school children. Stuart and Mags were fab last year and just as good again this year. More children this time around and was a bit worried but they managed the increase really well and couldn't fault anything. Food amazing, hospitality first class and room 2 is superb... More

We were fortunate to stay here for 2 nights during Tour de Yorkshire weekend, on arrival we had a warm reception from our hosts who promptly organised our parking permit for our stay. We were led to room 2 on the 1st floor, what a fantastic view it is, overlooking North bay. Our room was of good size with high... More

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst walking the Cleveland way and found it to be very clean and comfortable! We stayed in room 7 and it was just lovely. We especially liked the home made shortbread in our room each day and we really appreciated the lovely gesture of giving us extra shortbread for our final day walking! Thank... More

Good welcome, very clean, food superb, extra little touches make it feel like home from home. Would absolutely recommend this guest house to anyone. Plus it's close to most of the sights in Scarborough.

My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel last weekend whilst on a trip to Scarborough, and I couldn't fault it. The hotel is currently being modernised, and the rooms are lovely. The bar was closed for work whilst we stayed, although this wasn't a problem. Breakfast was lovely, with a cooked breakfast on offer and plenty of fresh fruit,... More
