Fantastic break, room was clean, modern and amply sized. Great kitchen facilities and a homely feel. There was no parking directly outside although Marianne explained exactly what to do to get parked. Friendly lady and very welcoming. Brilliant location not far from the bay and town centre. Only complaint was a broken biscuit ha ha. Would definitely recommend and we... More

We enjoyed our stay and were made to feel very welcome the room was clean and bed comfortable and they also accepted dogs. The B&B was close to the pubs on the North side of Scarborough and there was a lovely café next door which did a great breakfast.

Wow, never met such a rude person. Street parking....... We drove round & round for short of half an hour looking for a space before calling in to ask, zone parking not explained, I was spoken to as if I knew how the zones work. She kindly offered to sell my room to someone else if I wasn't happy!! Room... More

We needed a final overnight stay after my husband and friend had completed the RatRace coast to coast mountain bike ride, which finished in Scarborough, the room was very comfortable and we had a great night's sleep ! The host was very helpful with sorting out our parking and also with recommendations for breakfast and evening meals, as this is... More

Stayed here on a Thursday evening. Parked a couple of streets away as limited parking close by (you'll get a parking permit from the lodge valid for 2 days if staying for 1 night). Check in was very friendly (although lady didn't tell us her name). B and B has a homely feel and downstairs there is a nice sitting... More

Myself and Husband stayed here for one night as booked tickets for a gig at The Open Air Theatre, which turned out to be fantastic location as less than 5 minutes walk away. On arrival our welcome was super. Our room was very modern, clean and cosy. We will definitely book to stay here again and would highly recommend to... More

Marianne's welcome and customer service was brilliant. Received a very warm welcome and she was very informative. Everything was so clean and had very good facilities. The beds were really comfortable. Location was good. Just a short walk to the main promenade area. Great value for money. A 10% discount was offered at a local cafe (a couple of doors... More

Visited for a one night stay. The room was very cosy & clean, Marianne was lovely and told us the best places to visit & to eat which was very helpful. They dont serve food here but that is not a problem as there are plenty of places close by to eat and they have a communal kitchen if you... More

The location more pleasant than in the middle of town and still reasonable walking distance from the train station, right near the beach. Friendly, helpful and genuine owner who wants to make the stay as nice as possible. Modern, bright and clean decor with a comfortable room, nice size, good bed and everything you need. Nice to have a self-use... More
