Stayed here when it hadn’t been open long. Fabulous. Returned several times, then this last stay. Rust on handrails in stairwells Paint chipped off walls and wood work. Stayed for 11 nights had to ask for bed changing and fresh loo rolls, latter seemed to be given reluctantly, did get bed changed. External door handle to apartment not working. Windows in all rooms filthy Paid for further apartment for daughter and her family. Thermostat didn’t work ( only needed new batteries), and kettle leaked all over floor Several issues reported and dealt with but others not so Welcome pack now minimal Expected much more.

Absolutely love this place. I have been staying here for atleast 4 times a year from 2 nights to 2 weeks. Clean, tidy, fab facilities. Shop downstairs for all your needs. Restaurants and coffee shops near by. Sea view is the very best but for a cheaper option the non-sea view would be a very good choice as not too much time is spent in the apartment as there is so much to do in Scarborough. Very helpful staff and don’t hesitate to help with any needs required.

Second time staying in these apartments and still lovely. Reception are friendly and welcoming. Luggage trolleys available so no carrying heavy bags from the car. Our own designated carpark space so we could come and go easily. We stayed in seaview penthouse 504 and it was amazing. The biggest balcony ever, gorgeous furnishings, 3 massive TVs, 2 bathrooms and everything we could possibly need in the kitchen. Views from the whole apartment were stunning - saw snow, sunsets, rainbows, surfers all from the warmth of our room. The only small niggles were the twin beds were not zip and link which would have been nice to have the option of a double bed, and the dining table was too big for the room and felt a bit isolated. A brilliant luxury gorgeous place to stay. Can definitely recommend and will return again.

We arrived on the 25/09/2023 to stay in penthouse 501 to a noise like a motorbike which carried on all 3 days we stayed, I went to reception to ask what all the noise was and was told it had to be done jet washing the car park. We had paid £600 for a three night stay, we have not had an email to ask if we had enjoyed our stay because they Know we have not it was a small appliance and was still jet washing car park the morning we left surely it needed a industrial machine to do it all in one day. we visit sands a couple of times a year and have done for many years surely this should not be happening, pleased to come home for a bit of peace waste of our money and reception not bothered.

Five star experience as always. Stayed in three bedroom flat with sea view and balcony. A balcony and sea view are a must. Beds are very comfortable. Parking is easy and secure. A very well equipped kitchen. Whole flat is superb and we have stayed there before. Desk staff at reception are very helpful. There is a small convenience store by the flats. The flats open onto marine drive and the buses stop there very frequently. It’s great to have Peasholm park across the road and the miniature railway to Scalby and Sea World is about 100 yards away. My two friends and I are seniors and the only problem we had was that there were no grip rails in the showers. My 90 year old friend had the room with the walk in shower and because of the lack of grab rails did not feel safe to have a shower. Would not be a problem for younger, fitter people. The shower over the bath needs a rail too. Despite this it was a wonderful stay which I am sure we will repeat.

A fantastic week in the four bedroom apartment called Kepwick 6. The location is great and the layout of the apartment works well. Well equipped with all you can need. Issues were noisy/creaking floorboards and very hot in the downstairs bedroom - I don’t know if this is as a result of the heating or design. Fans availability but I guess it would be stifling if the weather was hot. Not cheap but quality worth it. Reception staff very helpful. We have booked to go back.

We arrived from Scotland to spend 8 days At the sands apartments July 2023. We were not disappointed, the apartment was a one bedroom and was very clean with sliding doors to the balcony, the kitchen was great to cook in , also its only a 5 minute drive to the seafront where all the shops and restaurants are. Nice and friendly people , great food . We enjoyed our stay at the sands apartments and Scarborough as a whole we thought was a great place . Look forward to going back!
