We love the harbor hotels collection so we decided we had to go for dinner as we were not staying at the hotel. The menu was not too large which was great as sometimes you have too much choice. A glass of champagne whilst we looked at the menu. We shared tempura prawns and vegetables as our starter. I ate... More

This was my third visit for lunch in the last three months, and the food was better still. We both had the lunch menu (£18 for two course, £4.50 for dessert). Starters, mains, and one dessert all excellent, a couple of glasses of wine, just over £50 including service. As ever a great view, pleasant service and nice modern setting.

We stayed for a 'Late Luxury' night, which at £115 was actually good value. This was our 3rd stay on one of these bargain nights, but it will be our last. On the previous 2 visits, as on this one, the rate included a £25 allowance each for our evening meal. On the first 2 visits we had the choice... More

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights mid-week in November 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The quality of the room, facilities and bedding was lovely. We wanted a relaxing short break and this was it. The food and service in the restaurant was great and the sea-view whilst dining was perfect. We particularly loved the spa, comprising showers, pool,... More

Lovely hotel set on a raised location offering sea views and excellent service. Dining facilities superb with stunning sea views from the restaurant. Breakfast very good with service at the table for hot food as well as self service for the cold buffet. Evenings in the bar area have a great atmosphere with good mix of seating arrangements. Drinks not... More

We stayed for 2 nights in November 2016 over a weekend with our small dog. After reading some reviews prior to our stay I was prepared for a room with no view by the car park (where the dog rooms are), however on arrival I was pleasantly surprised, all the grounds are nice and the room was really well refurbished,... Stayed in room 27 which is a sea view room with a very small balcony, which was far too noisy to be able to sit on and enjoy the views. Not worth paying the extra money for this particular room, no fridge in the room either. Building works going on in the hallway outside the room. Very noisy fan outside... More

The restaurant had a good service with stunning views if seated by the window overlooking the sea & coastline, yes the menu was limited if you were staying for more than two days & wanted to eat at a reasonable price .The Spa facilities... Lovely refurbished property with stunning views, but when it comes to checking out, beware - they charge for paying by credit card (3%). It is the only hotel we have visited which does this. Not impressed.

Have stopped here several times over the years, and have found the room improvements excellent, however cannot say the same about the restaurant which was extremely noisy and poorly organised, with a limited menu. Atmosphere non existent now, I am afraid will not come back.
