Awful service, booked breakfast a week in advance, turned up to be told they hadn't booked it and they had made an error, which is fair enough people are human, but the complete ignorance and unwillingness to try to help other than saying "it can't be done as we are fully booked" was appalling. I was told to call customer services, which at 8pm wasn't really an answer It's a shame as I have stayed at this hotel a few times and have 3 rooms booked for 2 nights in September, considering cancelling these now. Massively let down! However anyone wanting a decent meal and great service I recommend the Toby carvery in Old Windsor, they accommodated our 8 breakfasts willingly.
I think hotel must be on the updating list ,very small bar area no outdoor seating ,however the staff were verty friendly and helpful especially Aneta at breakfast and Roshni at evening meal.Overall the food was very good ,and the hotel was overall clean and tidy
If you would like staff to sneeze, blow their nose, then wipe their nose and serve you a drink then this is the place to go - very hygiene not, no washing of hands, no sanitiser used and didn’t care Staff were rude, asked about breakfast - told fully booked and can’t have it to watch later the same staff member booked 4 people in and make time for them - obviously my money wasn’t good enough or booking Staff taking your plates away while eating, to then speak to other staff about you and make you feel uncomfortable, when you ask them not to take plates and you haven’t finished - shouts at you In front of a full restaurant First night to listen to group of people outside talking, 2 males arguing while other males smoking cannabis Staff did nothing Obviously good night sleep promise not adhered to Staff did nothing The sad thing it was ideally situated for where we were going I have contacted guest services at head office nothing no response do obviously they don’t care either Same attitude as the staff That’s the only positive I can get from it - location…
I know we are in a pandemic but that should excuse rude and poor service. We had 3 rooms for 2 nights and had prebooked breakfasts. On arrival receptionist was helpful (night staff) but rooms were missing towels, toilet rolls. Night staff sorted this. Day staff, awful. Went for meal at prebooked time staff disinterested, obviously overworked and generally miserable. Food was ok. Left for Legoland all day. Next day staff insisted all meals to be paid before we entered the dining room (usually done at checkout). Service was dire to sat the least. Staff unintested, got orders wrong.
Stayed at this hotel and took my little one to Legoland. Receptionist who greeted us was rather rude from the beginning through to end, didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. Sanjor however who looked after us in the restaurant, the manager and the other ladies at breakfast looked after us amazingly and made the stay better. Made my little boy happy when he showed them his Lego plane and commented on it! :)
