The Bull as recently been renorvated so is clean and well presented .Beer well kept good wines at well priced .Though i thought the food expensive .Great outside gds haveing taken over the Bowling green ideal for a summer afternoon .Its a pity that the covered outside area is used as a smoking area

My husband and I stayed here for one night before flying out of Manchester airport the following morning. We wouldn't stay anywhere else for this type of stay. have been here a few times and its always a bit mixed, more negative than positive, but decided to give it a last chance.. We visited on Saturday night, it wasn't too busy, we were sat in the library room which is quite nice and relaxing. We ordered pizza, gammon and chicken supreme with a side of home made chips.... Encouraged by positive reviews we booked one night, mid week. It seemed go be going well when we arrived, spoke to a nice barmaid, and were allowed to leave our bags there before check in. Excellent accommodation fantastic staff both in the lodge and the pub. Food in both the evening and breakfast was wonderful highly recommended. Definitely be back again. Well worth the trip and excellent value for money.

This hotel is in an exceptional village 15 minutes to the airport with a lovely pub next door the room was fantastic value and the on site parking was an added bonus we stayed the night before an early flight and we were very pleased.

I went with my sister for her birthday meal we have been many many times but this time was a bit special. Mark was our chef he was wonderful and cooked everything to perfection. My wife and arrived at the bulls head yesterday morning, from the young lady on the check a polite and friendly welcome,nothing was to much trouble fir her, she gave us a taxi number to get into Manchester and privided us with a flask of fresh milk which was fantastic,rooms are spacious with flat screen btv on wall,the bathroom shower... I have stayed here over a dozen times. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The pub itself has a great menu which caters for all tastes and appetites.
