We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Inchgael. Diane is friendly and hospitable and cooks a delicious breakfast - lots of local knowledge too. The house's decor is fresh, bright and clean and in keeping with a large Victirian villa. Our front facing bedroom was well dressed, with a glorious view over the veritable parkland that is the front... More

Have just returned from a wonderful 2 night stay at Inchgeal lodge, we were warmly welcomed and shown to our spacious en-suite room with lovely views to the river. There were lovely little touches like complementary toiletries and toffees, the room was immaculate and the shower was amazing!. Downstairs there was a television lounge with comfy seating and some board... More

We stayed a night at this B&B, one of many B&B's on our driving tour of Scotland. This is an older building with lovely old world charm, comfortable and clean and very inviting in the picturesque town of Ballater. The room we had was quiet, however there was quite a drumming noise in the bathroom tap.

One of our last chances to find a b&b, and what a good chance we had this day. Really nice owner. A great house with a lot of history. The room was not to small. Everything was clean. The bathroom was not ensuite but that didn't matter. Was also clean. The breakfast was also very good.

Welcoming and comfortable - we were happy to stay there again and look forward to booking a room next year. The owners were happy to provide a very early breakfast for us. Rooms are well decorated and equipped and there is a nice lounge.

My wife and I only stayed one night at Inchgeal Lodge, but it will remain long in our memories. Along with the fact that Diane was a wonderful and friendly host, our room was most comfortable. The bed was very cosy and the bathroom very clean and well fitted out. This may sound a bit 'over the top', but I... More

We were welcomed in this nice B&B. We stayed in an en suite room, the Tullich, which is spacious, perfectly clean and comfortable. The bathroom is huge with a spacious bath and a powerful shower . The Invergauld room is clear and modern and has a lovely view on the garden too. They both overlook on the garden and the... More

Rung the bell at 2000hrs. Vacancies sign displayed. Diane welcomed me in and showed me a super top floor room. Room 1 wasn't ensuite (which didn't bother me) but had a super comfortable double bed and lots of pillows. Great tea and coffee making facilities (including Choc Chip biscuits and hot choc!) Rather spacious, especially for 1 person. Bigger rooms... More

Our five night stay at the Inchgeal Lodge was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable trips we've taken, in no small part because of the accommodation itself. Set alongside the beautiful river Dee, the B&B was clean, fresh and well maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was modern, with the shower powerful and refreshing. Free wifi,... More
