I would never stay here again. After staying here and finding nuts plus other food all over the carpet behind furniture. It was dirty. We had been told we had been upgraded but i wouldn't want to find out what it's like downgraded. Piles of dust everywhere. Then to be offered a 'free breakfast' I wouldn't want to eat in...

We stayed here for a week at the end of May whilst carrying out some work on a contract in Bedford. We got the last twin room available after being let down on the day by another guest house in the local area, luckily for us as it turned out. Booked a cooked breakfast for 7 each morning and all...

Stayed here with work mates in January. Scruffy builder seemed to run the place. Our room was dark, grubby and very cold. The owner didn't like the heating being put on for more than an hour according to the manager. Our office got a cheap rate so couldn't complain. I wouldn't choose this place again. Have tried the Bedford Park...

My partner and I stayed at The Elms with other family members for a family wedding. As we were travelling a long distance on the morning of the wedding the owner very kindly made sure the rooms were ready before the normal check in time so we were able to change, even making an alteration to my dress 10 mins...

Located in a beautiful, quiet tree lined avenue, full of character buildings, The Elms provided a wonderful stay for our family whilst we visited family. A great welcome from all staff, who couldn't have been more helpful, even down to some emergency sewing! The breakfast was fantastic, the full English cooked to order and piping hot. There was also plenty...
