Just home from our daughters graduation in Carlisle and felt I must post a review for abbey court guest house. The beds were so comfy and the breakfast was a delight and served by a lovely lady. Service and welcome was exceptional. A hidden little gem and so reasonablely priced. Will definitely return to this beautiful little guest house in... More

Beautiful rooms, clean and tidy environment, friendly staff and an excellent location! Breakfast each morning was excellent, beds were very comfortable and the rooms have everything you could possibly need. Thank you very much for a beautiful stay! We will definitely be recommending to friends and family and returning again when we travel to the uk next.

We stay in Carlisle a bit ( we are both originally from the city) but we have always stayed in the Travelodge or Ibis. On this occasion we couldn't get booked in due to the Will Young concert at the racecourse. I... More

The rooms are very well appointed with everything you could need for a short break or a longer stay. We had the garden suite which was wonderful and the bed was so comfy we didn't want to leave. Breakfast was... More

The hotel is on a busy main road, about a ten minute walk to the centre. There were a couple of pubs each way, and a Wetherspoons a five minute walk away. The guest house was warm, welcoming & clean and the room was furnished really nice with lovely soft furnishings. The landlady could have been a bit more welcoming... More
