A very warm welcome upon arrival, hotel was nice and clean. The room was well laid out, warm and clean. Bed very comfy. Bathroom, shower and bath excellent. Breakfast in the morn was well worth the stay alone!

We had a lovely welcome. Our room was perfect. We was pleasantly surprised having a bath and a shower. We was very impressed. Would happily stay here again. Without hesitation. Easy to find with plenty of parking spaces

The accommodation rather cramped for two people; we only stayed one night, but if we had stayed longer there was very little space to put things. It would be nice to have fruit tea available as well as coffee and tea.

Thank you for your review and yes the rooms are not large, but we feel they are functional for there purpose with adequate room to walk round, and plenty of room for storage, most guests don't even unpack. We also have an under used guest lounge and conservatory for your use. We must however take you to task over the... More

Stopped for a overnight break in our journey. Hosts very welcoming and friendly. Very clean and comfortable. There was noise from the busy road which the property faces but it quietened at a reasonable time so had a good nights sleep. Very tasty breakfast with decent choice.

This is a fabulous place to stay, great hospitality, selflessly clean and comfortable. To top it all a tasty breakfast. I stayed in a single room on business and it has to be the nicest single I have ever stayed in. I will definitely return if I am in the area again.

Only stayed for quick overnight stop but nice hotel with good facilities and breakfast. Sue and Warren very friendly hosts. Location handy for the motorway and easy to find. One minor downside was that although not on a major road the noise from the small amount of passing traffic was significant in the room I was in.

Warren and Sue are very helpful and will advise you where to park in Carlisle and also where's good to eat. Plenty of pubs in Carlisle but nothing nearby to the b + b if... More
