This hotel is well located in the city centre with free off street parking. The staff were polite and on hand. The room was large and warm enough with large blackout curtains. Noise from the clubs and bars below was ever present and this will be an issue for some but despite the windows being old single glazed ones that...

For the price paid (£36 for solo occupancy of a double room) I got a very large room, with an excellent bed, toiletries, flat screen tv with many channels and a cooked breakfast in the...

Stayed here as a stopover on the way to Edinburgh. Admittedly it was last minute and cheap and I didn't check any reviews before booking! What a mistake that was! So I'll start with the few positives this hotel has for balance: Close to the city centre and walking distance to the castle Free on-site parking Adequate facilities Friendly staff...
