Me and my partner were away for his birthday and our anniversary so we just found this little gem, it's about 15mins walk out of town but a great place to stay! Room was immaculate and very spacious, bathroom was incredibly clean too! Breakfast was great and the hosts were most welcoming! Will stay again next time we go for... More

We booked this guesthouse on other people's recommendations and they were totally right the room was huge and spotlessly clean, breakfast was lovely. The town is a short walk away with plenty of shops, bar's and restaurants. It's a credit to the owners, will be definitely staying there again soon as our daughter is at the university there. Highly recommend★★★★★

This b&b was close to our walking route on Hadrians Wall Path and had everything we needed. Good room, nice breakfast, friendly owners who made us feel welcome, hot shower, wifi etc. It's a bit of a walk to reach the town centre and restaurants, but on the other hand the river and a large park is nearby. The only... More

We stayed here in 2014 and again this years during our Hadrian's wall walk. A lovely little B&B, lovingly looked after with nice clean rooms. Although on a busy road we have always had a good nights sleep. The breakfasts are just lovely and they also do a nice pack up. Highly recommend if in Carlisle

The hosts were very friendly and attentive. The room itself was modern and clean with good ensuite facilities. We had a very comfortable night's stay and a tasty full English breakfast in the morning. It is conveniently placed on the main road into the town centre which is only 10-15 min walk and there are plenty of nice restaurants on... More

Cambro House is located on busy Warwick Road, about 15 mins walk from the city, where the Cathedral is, and a further 10 mins walk to Carlisle Castle. Our double room was at the front of the building overlooking Warwick Road. Traffic noise could be heard in the room notwithstanding the double glazing, however it was quite muted and not... More

Stopped off here for the night while walking Hadrian's wall. Beautiful B&B, the owners clearly take pride in their establishment. Nice breakfast and there is a pub a few minutes down the road that served good food at a good price for the evening.

We stayed here whilst driving from London to the highlands of Scotland. Brilliant location as its just off the M6. Very quiet and the hosts are lovely. Nice hearty breakfast to start the day also. Location is close to Hadrian's wall so we spent some time there before continuing our journey to Scotland. Room is cosy, warm, and clean however... More

Ideal location and fantastic value for money. Spacious and clean rooms with a lovely breakfast. We asked for a reserved parking space and this was sorted for us. The owners were welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at this charming bed and breakfast. Although situated on the very busy Warwick Rd (A69) limited parking is available outside the property (permit given) there is private parking available at the rear. Any road noise is kept to a minimum with goos double glazing. Rooms are comfortable and clean with a spacious bathroom.... More
