I always love to write a fair and balanced review where I can talk about the things a place a does well and does less so... Let's start from beginning it's a little out of town about five minutes and can be awkward to see at night but that's natural. You get to the door and your welcomed in they...

Staying at the Southwold for three nights .Roger and Alison are great hosts, the whole place is spotless and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast is plentiful and good.would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in Skegness. It isn't far to the beach or the town

We spent one night at the Southwold and received a warm welcome at the door. A lovely clean room with all the extras included, tea, biscuits, towels and toiletries. An immaculate bathroom, and off street parking all added to the value. We enjoyed the friendly and filling full breakfast including cereal bar. A big thank you to Rodger and Alison.

My friend and I came to stay here as it was cheap and looked a nice place. We were made to feel so welcome by the lovely couple who own the place and the room was clean and tidy! The breakfast was also really nice too! Would definitely come here again, Thankyou!

Stayed for 1 night on a late deal and was very pleasantly surprised at the warm welcome and clean tidy double ensuite. Could not find fault and with a nice breakfast with plenty of everything I would definitely stay again. I'm sure there are bigger hotels with bigger rooms, but for great value this B&B cannot be beat.

Small b&b ran by a lovely couple who were very welcoming from the start. I arrived early after having asked if I could drop my bags off early (which they were happy for me to do) and found that the room was ready so I was able to drop the bags in the room and get the key ready. The...

Lovely little hotel with great friendly owners. Room was lovely and clean, really nice breakfasts nothing was too much trouble. Walking distance to the town centre and sea front, is located on the quieter north parade side. Would definitely stay again should I return to skegness in the future

Warm welcome from very pleasant owner. Excellent full English breakfast, with particularly good quality sausage. Very good value for money. The layout of my particular single room meant it had a rather small and somewhat awkwardly located washbasin, but this is a minor quibble and is more than made up for by the excellent shower and sheer value-for-money offered. Location...
