Just stayed in the ground floor, 2 bedroom suite. Absolutely lovely! Accommodation, space, breakfast & hospitality all outstanding. Will definitely go back. Just returned from a 3 night break over the August bank holiday weekend . I booked via booking.com but you can also book direct with the hotel. The Caxton house hotel is situated on trafalgar avenue a side street off drummand road in Skegness. It's a quiet street and the beach is close by just a short walk at end...

So accommodating. So gentle. A true haven. Wonderful breakfast. Home made jam. Wonderful bedrooms, every detail carefully thought through. Will definitely book again. Short walk over the dunes to the sea. Short walk into Skegness.

Arrived for check in & Wendy showed us round was lovely to see her getting the kids involved & gave them the code for the door & let them have a practice. Another family celebration hosted at Caxton House for 18 people ranging from 3 to 80! The usual warm welcome and high standards. The most amazing selection of desserts which is why we had several each! The penthouse room was new for this time around. Wendy and Paul are the perfect hosts . The food which is home made is amazing ! The bread and jam is just yummy !! And the lamb tangine was a tastebud sensation! This guest house has a lovely feel to it and is within a few minutes walk of a lovely quiet beach. The host and hostess, Paul and Wendy, are so welcoming, calm and encourage you to really enjoy your stay. The food is amazing! It is really wonderful.
