I stayed with my wife over night while we were in Stamford for my work Xmas party. We were met by a very friendly face who offered us drinks and couldn't have been more helpful, the next morning the breakfast was beautiful with a fruit granola starter. I highly recommend this B & B.

My friend and I had a weekend away from families and were lucky enough to book Stamford Lodge. We were warmly welcomed even looking through the window before we entered the place! The dynamic and generous Gemma has an amazing eye for detail. You can help yourself to a glass of wine, fruit or a slice of homemade cake in...

Making our reservation months in advance I thought Gemma was a quaint grandmotherly type. Wrong! She's an exciting young woman offering gracious hospitality from happy hour to breakfast. Gemma gave us specific recommendations for parking, a walking tour and dining. We loved our guest quarters and can only imagine how she came to possess so many unusual pieces. Our stay...

I have stayed at The Stamford Lodge on a number of occasions over the last few years but always forget to post a review! This is a fantastic B&B run by a great host. Rooms are lovely and the breakfast is amazing. Very well situated for Stamford and all that it has to offer but close enough away for you...

We have just returned from a weekend away in Stamford staying at Stamford Lodge. From the moment you walk in you are made very welcome with nothing being too much trouble such as tea, cake coffee, wine. The rooms are lovely and slightly quirky, a lot of thought has gone into them. The breakfast was lovely, with very good choice...

Two night stopover whilst attending a friends birthday celebration. Absolute delight. Warm welcome, cosy clean bedroom with king-size bed and first class on suite facilities, a breakfast selection to accommodate every possible taste and diet and plenty of it. Attractive and quirky décor sets this B&B apart and offered a wonderful individual experience whilst giving instant access to the heart...

Stayed at the Stamford Lodge Guest House on business and it was a delight to stay at. Breakfast was fantastic with more than enough food. Room was elegantly appointed with lovely little touches throughout the room. Modern bathroom. Lovely big bed. Would love to come back and stay again.

Just gorgeous, the ladies who run the B&B were very welcoming. The rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. Very sweet decor. The breakfast was fresh, well cooked and delicious. We loved the freshly made cake that was left out for us to help ourself to delicious. It is a very trustworthy B&B even leaving wine in the fridge to help...

I really can't add anything to what's already been said about this outstanding guesthouse. This was our second stay here. We loved it then, and our view hasn't changed, and we hope we will have an opportunity to stay again. The extremely generous complimentary glass (or more!) of prosecco was a very welcome touch, but the whole experience is delightful....

The title says it all. DF treated me to a stay here in this delightful town. It's the first time I've met Gemma, but it will not be the last. An excellent experience. Very comfortable and a breakfast that will stay long in the memory(DF; Dear Fiancée)
