We booked the jacuzzi suite room for 2 nights which was big and nicely decorated. We used the jacuzzi once during our stay so not sure we would book this type of room again. My husband had ordered chocolates as a surprise on our arrival but they had been forgotten. He rang reception and they were sent up within about 30 minutes. The hotel did refund us for the chocolates though due to this. The breakfast was ok, standard fare although some of it sat for a while on hot plates. Mostly self service with a few exceptions. I think a more extensive cook to order menu would improve the offering and experience. The communal areas of the hotel were a bit tired and the hallway carpets really needed a good clean or replacing which let the hotel down a bit. The grounds and setting were great and the rooms were quiet. We ate in the carvery one night and enjoyed the meal and thought it was great value. The staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful. Pretty good and with a few changes would be a 5

We visited Moor Hall for a Blissful Sap Day package and it certainly lived up to its name! The hotel itself is beautiful (a little sprucing up required in some places but certainly did not distract from our experience). We arrived and were offered tea and toast whilst filling in the necessary paperwork. We were then shown around the facilities before being left to enjoy our day, which included unlimited water and hot drinks, plus a one course lunch which we enjoyed outside in the sunshine. The leisure facilities are of a good standard and the massage itself was absolutely amazing! The best massage I’ve had in a long time! The Thalgo products were fabulous and there was no pressure to buy lots of products at the end of the treatment which was nice. The relaxation room was a lovely space to chill out with a book and enjoy some quiet time. Overall a wonderful day and we will definitely be returning.

Had afternoon tea at moor hall yesterday my son and family had bought me vouchers for my birthday, my friend and I had the best of times, food delicious, service excellent, even the pastry chef came out and asked if everything was okay, tea served constantly, I love afternoon tea, so I'm somewhat of a connoisseur on the subject and Moor Hall is up there with the best. Thank you.

We have just returned from a FABULOUS 4 night stay at this fantastic hotel. First and foremost the staff are BRILLIANT! They are extremely friendly, approachable and kind….and nothing is every too much effort for them. Having staff like this at your hotel really does make a difference to a persons experience when they stay. Our room wasn’t ready at check in time, but we were immediately given a free drinks voucher for the bar, which went down a treat and upon getting into our room 45 mins later there was a knock at the door to check that everything was okay for us in the room…. Perfect service!!!! The food is lovely, the breakfast has loads of options and always steaming hot breakfast options which is nice. The spa area was lovely, and the complimentary robes and slippers in the rooms is a lovely touch. We stayed in the four poster suite…. The room was MASSIVE with a lovely big bath tub, sofa and table and chairs. There were 3 fans in our room to keep It cool in this hot weather… which I think is testimony to how big this room actually is haha I think it must be like the Bridal prep suite as it had three dressing tables and mirrors in there :-) I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody wanting a lovely break away! The decor and lights at night were stunning! Well done Moor Hall Hotel…. Fantastic!!!!

Our friends from London came up to join us for Sunday lunch and a wonderful time was had by all. The COUNTRY KITCHEN staff were welcoming and attentive , the food was delicious with the meats of TURKEY, BEEF AND PORK plentiful and succulent. One of our friends had THE SEA BASS . and was particulary impressed. We then relaxed in the splendid gardens over tea and drinks to complete a really pleasurable experience. Our friends are already looking at dates for their next visit and MOOR HALL, YOU DID US PROUD. Good friends, good food and lovely gardens, what more can you ask for on a Summers afternoon.

Started off badly when we weren't able to put bar drinks on the restaurant bill when we arrived. Had asked bar staff to let the restaurant know we had arrived for our 2pm Sunday lunch, obvoiusly never happened as it was 2.45 before our arrival was acknowledged. 20% of the starters we're unavailable, when the starters did arrive half of the dishes had items missing. We then had to ask for bread rolls as these hadn't been offered when we sat down for our meal. There was no choice just six brioche buns - not appropiate for a premier restaurant. The main course arrived eventually, 4 of the six meals were cold, these were taken away to be addressed, whilst the remaining two were left on the table as no veg had arrived. When it did the mixed veg was barely warm, and the cauliflower cheese was in a dish that was too hot to pick up (not an issue) but the contents was cold and uncooked, the cauliflower couldn't be cut was still raw. This was taken away to be addressed, with the two remaining meals left on the table as there was now now veg to accompany. The four meals then returned from the kitchen, the meat was now the fatty ends from a joint and still as cold as before. We now had six cold meals with no veg, so had no choice but to start as we'd been there 90mins. The cauliflower and veg was then served as we'd nearly finished - it was no different from the previous serving, however on this occasion the cauliflower was green, as well as uncooked, and cold. It was at this point we asked for someone in charge as this was totally unacceptable. The duty manager appeared and offered a to only charge 'A la carte' menu prices for the meal and exclude the main meal! no mention of the fact that the whole experience of the afternoon was below even Basil Faulty standards! I refused to pay for the food, paid for what we drank - even though we had to fetch ourselves from the bar during our meal as there were no staff about. I asked for the general manager to call me so that I could go in and discuss our experince, 5 days later still no contact from Moor Hall. Our family have been regular customers of the hotel for 20 years or more, and this was the worst service I've ever experienced. We won't be renewing our spa membership again (a member for 25 years) and will not use Broads Travel again. Sorry Mr WEBB but it's gone to S**T

We booked here for my moms 50th Birthday for afternoon tea, we was greeted by Paul and Charles who were both lovely, Paul was very welcoming and chatty.. half of our party were late but this wasn't a problem and despite being half hour late we wasn't rushed or anything, the afternoon tea itself was delicious (probably the best one we have found so far) really reasonably priced considering it's in a lovely setting! The chef even sent a special dessert for the birthday girl! Paul and Charles made our experience unforgettable and we can't thank them enough for making my moms birthday a really special one! we will sure be returning again soon! thank you 😊
