Lying within 26 acres of mature, elegant grounds this 60 bedroom historic country house hotel is widely reputed to be the oldest inhabited, moated manor house in England. Sympathetic renovation has provided up-to-the-minute facilities whilst retaining most of its medieval charm and character. Public areas with their fine panelling and mullioned stained-glass windows create a unique historical ambiance; the magnificent Great Chamber is particularly impressive indeed.

I just couldn't find fault with this Hotel - service throughout was second to none, and the whole place just oozed charm, character & class. The Gym & Spa was also very well kept & maintained - I for one will definitely return here again.

We have stayed here twice before and had an amazing experience. The food was incredible and we were really looked after. However, not this time. Its good to see a busy hotel but when the car park is rammed with corporate bods it was hard to find somewhere to park. We were

This hotel is in a beautiful setting with a moat round it. There was attention to detail before we arrived - phone call to check information week before - right through our stay. There was a warm professional welcome at reception. To call once we were in the room to check

This place is a British gem in the Midlands. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Good location. The place could do with a slightly nicer bar and the breakfast staff seemed a little overwhelmed but no complaints. Highly recommended.

Taxis are about £20 but the X4 bus goes from Reddicap Heath rd to Birmingham centre and it's a 10 minute walk away. I always go in by bus and book a Mercury taxi to meet me at end of gig. The pool area is small but I had a facial which is really good. Can't say anything about veggie meals but I'm sure that if you email well in advance they will sort something.

are there draught beers /lagers for sale at the bar.
I believe there is although the bar is small so I assume the variety is a little limited. Their communication is great so to be sure give them a call 👍🏾 Kind Regards Jade
