We stayed overnight and had a meal in the evening. The room we stayed in was v good value - it had a lovely sitting area, huge bed - sheets pillow cases and duvet cover were divine, the bathroom had a wonderful claw bath so relaxing to get into with the window open onto the crisp evening. Our evening meal...

We were made to feel exceptionally welcome as soon as we arrived. The room was fantastic - huge comfortable bed and incredible bathroom with a massive free standing bath plus walk in shower area. As there was no fridge in the room, the proprietor very kindly provided ice buckets for our bubbles. We ate at the restaurant and the food...

We spent two nights here. The room was exceptional value for money. There was a super king bed as well as a sofa, tv and a large bathroom. The location was also very convenient for dogs to stay too. The food in the evening was splendid. A new chef we were told. On our departure we have booked to stay...

Stayed on Xmas eve. Although we didn't eat the rooms we're huge. Spotlessly clean and tidy. The staff were extremely helpful ensuring we had all we needed. Even the dog was well catered for. I would definitely recommend this to a friend and will be retuning when I need to stay in Somerset again.

On a dark November Monday evening, in the countryside just south of Taunton, we had a warm welcome at the Farmer's Arms. It was Pie Night, with a good selection of tasty, good-value pies (a wide menu of other dishes was also available), a couple of excellent beers, and a good Merlot. The staff were friendly and helpful, making for...

We spent a night at this wonderful Pub with rooms(5).The room was outstanding with large comfortable bed and two sofas and a huge bathroom. Dinner was delicious. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Even my Labrador who normally doesn't like being away from home slept well

Looking for a mid way halt for our trip deeper in to the West Country, and having perused a number of sites (then checking on Trip Advisor) in desperation we chose the Farmer's Arms. What a find!! Out of the way along winding country lanes, great views, good walking country, very dog friendly; good food - I had the Steak...

A tremendous second stay at The Farmers Arms, the best Inn we have ever stayed at, good food, first class standard of accommodation and excellent staff. Our room which I would class as a suite, had a very large bathroom, with a free standing bath and enormous shower unit. I wish I had realised we could have taken our dog...

We booked 3 rooms at The Farmers Arms and all three rooms were excellent. The beds were comfortable and we had excellent nights sleep. The bathrooms were quirky but lovely, my room had a roll top bath and only a hand held shower, which suited me, but the others had good shower cubicles. The welcome was good, and the breakfast...

We were looking for a place to stay near Taunton for two nights (6 of us ). When we found the Pub eventually up narrow lanes, the car park was quite full with dinners, aways a good sign. Check in was a bit hit a miss, the rooms were all individual with different themes for each. All were very clean...
