From the moment we arrived we we well looked after, our luggage was taken to our 3rd floor garden room which was very spacious and exceptionally well appointed. Because of the room amenities we chose to use room service rather than the hotel dining room. there was an extensive room menu and first class service. Breakfast was taken in the... More

Good very clean room and en suite. Heavy curating, good toiletries. Wine by glass in bar expensive but lots of free nuts and olives. Helpful Receptionist, breakfast reasonable but not exceptional.decor in breakfast room at odds with the style elsewhere. Very central and amazing wisteria clambering up front of building. Definitely would go again.

Stayed here on a brief business trip with my family visiting from overseas for 2 nights earlier this month. It was a last minute decision to bring my wife too so called the hotel to inform the day before. The woman that was the 'customer services' person was among the rudest I've ever encountered. So bad I asked for her... More

My husband and I stayed here on a Saturday in the garden view room. The staff were extremely helpful and polite at all times. The room was very large with two windows, one with a window seat. It also had a large dressing area between the bed room and bathroom. Granted the decor and furnishings are a bit dated but... More

I stayed for a single Saturday night whilst visiting my daughter in Taunton. The hotel is very conveniently situated in the middle of the town, within walking distance of the station. They also have a private car park, which can get busy. This was my second stay. The staff are very friendly and amenable. For example, I fell whilst out... More

As someone who stays in hotels week in, week out for business, I have become somewhat jaded, but this place was fabulous! From the moment I checked in, staff were attentive, polite and could not do enough for you. I dined in The Brazz Restaurant and whilst portions did not look big, I certainly didn't leave hungry and throughly enjoyed... More

Disappointing to say the least. The hotel looks very impressive from the outside... Charging £167 for a superior room. Superior room? Are you sure? They also charge you £5 to park the car. This should be complimentary at that price. I would suggest the owner does a "comparative shop" to see how it should be done. I have stayed in nicer... More

We stayed here 28th and 29th July 2016, for our sons wedding at Hestercombe Gardens, the staff were helpful with booking taxi for other guest. It is a first class hotel. Staff pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with extras if required.

I booked fairly late and was rewarded with a pokey room on the third floor. It was very hot and quite difficult to get any air through the room, though a fan was provided. After one night being overheated by a duvet, the duvet was efficiently changed at my request the next night for a simple sheet. All the amenities... More

Booked a Superior room, very comfortable, best hotel bed we've had for some time. Hotel location is excellent, very central, and the common areas are full of cosy little corners. We didn't have dinner but the menu looked good so maybe next time. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice with good local produce and home baked bread. The museum... More
